India at 2019 World Cup Cricket – Make A Prediction (MAP) 1
Following the 2019 World Cup Cricket? Let's see how accurate your predictions are for Team India. This is the first of the Make A Prediction (MAP) activity. Join in for some summer fun!
Our favourite team takes on South Africa in their opening game tomorrow, 5th June at 3p.m. Before we tune in to that game tomorrow to cheer the Men in Blue, let's test our skills as soothsayers! This is a simple, fun activity with no bumper prizes. However, points and cc will be given as mentioned below.
What you have to do: Make three predictions to the three questions below in a response to this thread, only listing the answers (do not repeat the questions). Each accurate prediction will get one point and 1cc. The first five accurate predictions will get two points and 2cc. That means even if you submit your response last, if the prediction is among the five, you will get two points and 2cc. A bonus of two points will be given to anyone who predicts all three accurately. So you can thus get up to eight points and 8cc. There will be no negative points for incorrect predictions. Please be honest and do not edit and change your predictions once you have submitted a response.
MAP-1 Predictions – India vs South Africa
1. When India bats, the opening partnership will be:
(a) less than 10; (b) between 11 runs and 25 runs; (c) between 26 runs and 50 runs; (d) definitely above 50!
2. When South Africa bats, how many of their batsmen will be clean bowled?
3. How many catches will India's wicketkeeper take?
Here's an example of how to list your predictions in a response to this thread:
1. (c) between 26 runs and 50 runs.
Predictions should be made today only, 4th June 2019. Responses after midnight tonight (IST) will not be considered, even if the thread is open. Points and cc will be credited to accurate predictions later in due course of time. Do not raise threads questioning why it was not done.
If we get a good response to MAP-1, we will have more MAP activities for all Team India's games, as also for the semi-finals and the final of the 2019 World Cup Cricket tournament.
Best of luck to you all for your predictions – and, of course, to Team India!
