Knowledge is power.
Generally, for important tournaments like this, they have to keep a day after the match as a vacant day so that if there is any problem the next day can be the match playing day. But this time I think the tournament was not planned like that. The viewers will get disappointed and we may not see the best performance from the players.
Let us hope that further there will not be any problem and coming Sunday is an important day as the match between traditional rivals India and Pakistan is to be played on that day.
One solace is that ICC is protected by a 'Rain insurance cover", atleast the ticket holders can get a refund of the ticket price (without ICC suffering losses), if less than 15 overs of play occurred, then full refund, from 15-30 overs a 50% refund is being mentioned. Everyone is talking about a reserve day but ICC is quite clear that it is not possible to have reserve days for each and every match.
