Bring harmony between words and life

We all have heard how important it is to practice what we preach. How many of us follow it? A very few of us adopt it. It is easy to say all the good words and preach which sounds morally correct. However, it is more important to turn the words into actions. Mere words do not offer to do any good. When it comes to implementing them in action, we take the back seat. For example, the truth is bitter. We preach that honesty is the best policy. But how many of us adopt this policy in real life.

It is good that we always preach what is morally correct. We should also think and act in the same way. When our thoughts, words and actions are in harmony, life becomes simple. Why complicate life by creating disharmony between thoughts, words and actions. In the beginning, it may seem a little difficult but our consistent efforts can bring back the harmony between our thoughts, words and actions.

Telling is very easy. But doing is very difficult. Many times we will get advises from various people. But the same when they face the same situation behaves in a different way. These political leaders are very good at telling but they never practice the same. KCR, when he was contesting for the MLA, told that he will make a BC as the CM of the state. But when the results were declared and when his party got the majority he became CM and now he says he will be the CM for the next ten years minimum.
In many cases, there is no relation between the saying and the doings. In our movies, the hero will be smoking and on the screen, we will see " Smoking is injurious to life". A few people only can actually say what they implement. In Hyderabad, one politician in his speech said that Do what I say but never do what I do. I am happy that he has accepted that he do all mistakes only,

    always confident

It is very true that there is a difference between our talks and actions. Talking is so easy and people do not have control on it. It is also a fact that it does not matter what a person talks. It has no value until an appropriate action is linked with it.
    Thoughts exchanged is knowledge gained.

We do preach moral things but when life tests us and time come to follow what we preach, we make our morals take a backseat and go for the shortcuts that openly humiliate the morality. It always happens and we always take shortcuts. We all are always in a hurry to get things done. Also, other people too don't do our things on time if we don't follow the shortcuts. It's difficult to follow what we preach. A lot of effort and sacrifice is needed to stick to the correct things in life. And how would we ever sacrifice anything when all we want is to achieve more and more.
Make love to life before it divorces you.

A well-noted point is a truth that we seldom practice what we preach and that there is no harmony between our words and actions. We may say that we speak the truth but at times we lie. The lie can be small and may not hurt someone but a lie is a lie. Some say lie said for welfare is fine but then how can we say that it was for their betterment. Some of the example which we normally make are:
    - Got late to work and give false excuses as bus/train got late, tyre got punctured, etc.
    - Forget the birthday/anniversary and tell them that we were busy in the office.
    - We didn't like the food or cinema but will pretend as if it was good.
These are some of the excuses we make without feeling guilty.

There are very few people who try to practise what they preach and they may lead a happy life but may have a less social life.

A good post by the author. It is true that we must have coherence between what we speak and what we act. Many people have a habit of talking tall but when it comes to action they draw blank. A person is actually judged by what he acts and not by what he talks. There are many people who have good synchronisation between their talks and their actions. These are the people who have a good following of the masses and are respected and adored by their followers. The leaders who talk big will only get the support of the public when they really do something for the welfare of the common masses.
    Knowledge is power.

It looks good to say that our actions harmonise with our words but practically neither it's feasible nor favourable. Which is why, generally, politicians, businessmen etc weigh the pros and cons of repercussions and the level of people they're to fulfil their promise to.

However, invariably commonman who's taught such lessons at home or in books as a child takes care of his words before actions and vice versa though but sometimes, vagaries of circumstances make him go against his own sayings.

I heard an incident of a saint that oneday a woman brought her child who'd habit of eating nothing but sweets. The saint asked her to bring her child after 15 days.
After 15 days she revisited him then the saint preached the child to consume other items of food as well, for different nutrients are also needed for his body. The woman wondered and asked the reason of dally. The saint replied,''When you came to me also I would consume too much sweets, therefore, first, I left this habit of mine before preaching your child''.

Whatever the case is, rare species who firmly abide by their sayings are on the verge of extinction.

Nice awareness thread from the author. We are bowing to words for its richness in content-wise, but when it comes to action we are not adhering to the action and that is the catch of our life.

Make the world a better place.
To make a better place, we need to make peace.

    Action speak louder than words.
If we are persistent, patient and hard worker, then the efforts put in will be acknowledged. It is very easy to rebuke, pass comments, lecture rudely, dictating instructions as if you own the world.

Words came into power to be expressive. Actions came into power to be impressive. Now it's up to us whether we wake up everyday to express or impress.

Generally what happens we express our opinions on a issue. Having an opinion is good with no fake promises. But, there comes a time when we need to switch modes for expression of words to have a impressive impact.
Without impact, the words have no power.
Switching modes means changing the form of communication. If uhh are vocal,it's high time you should start doing something about it such as by publishing an article or posting slogans, being active in discussion forums or in any other relevant way.
If you are publishing columns in newspaper and there is no effect, it's high time to raise your voice.

We must not preach the Bible, the Quran, the Bhagvat Gita or the gospel. We must bring our words into power by our actions.

If we don't control our tongue while speaking, you have lost the usage of word power.

If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything.
