    Amruta,

    Please check-
    1. B.Sc. Botany - added
    2. B.Sc. Physical Sciences (Chemistry) - added
    3. B.Sc. Physical Sciences (Computer Sciences) - added
    4. B.Sc. Physical Sciences (Electronics) - added
    5. Ph.D. Biomedical Science - could not be clarified from the college website
    6. Ph.D. Computer Science - could not be clarified from the college website, but already in our database
    7. Ph.D. Mathematics - could not be clarified from the college website, but already in our database
    8. Diploma in Spanish - added
    9. Advanced Diploma in French language - could not be clarified from the college website (they are offering a diploma, which is in our database)
    10. Certificate in Effective communication and Personality Development through Theatre - this is an add-on course and may not be a permanent one hence does not make sense to add it to the database
    11. Certificate in Legal Awareness - could not be clarified from the college website
    12. Certificate in Quality Control (QC) Chemist - could not be clarified from the college website

Note: We would prefer not to add certificate courses that are just one-off courses, meaning they are scheduled once in a while for some hours only, just like a workshop or seminar, and not really a permanent part of the college department(s). We prefer adding certificate courses if they are regular ones with a proper academic session, even if of a few months.

    Dear Vandana,

Thank you for adding the courses. While I understand your query on certificate courses, I would suggest you to refer to http://andcollege.du.ac.in/sites/default/files/AQAR_2017_18.pdf.

This is the AQAR report filed by the college to NAAC. This report shows the mention of Ph.D. courses and the Advanced Diploma. AQAR stands for Annual Quality Assurance Report which colleges have to submit to NAAC and thus are considered as more official. They may be thus given more consideration than what is mentioned on the website pages.

Amruta, the courses have been added: Ph.D. Biomedical Science and Advanced Dip. French Language. We generally expect the colleges to give the list under their courses section so that students know at a glance which ones are offered. It is possible a course is not mentioned if there is currently no faculty to teach the course (such as the advanced diploma course). In the case of Ph.D. Courses, these are offered depending on whether or not a qualified Guide is available. Anyway, the courses have been added which were not in our database.

Dr. Apurva , the course has been added - B.Ed. Sp.Ed. ASD.

    Dear Vandana,

The link mentioned by you for Ph.D. Computer Science is actually of Ph.D. Computer Science and Engineering.

The difference between Ph.D. Computer Science and Ph.D. Computer Science & Engineering is that in the former, Ph.D. is done more with theoretical approach. The latter focusses on Ph.D. on the applications of Computer Science.

I would thus suggest, that if you could create a separate course for Ph.D. Computer Science, it will be helpful.
