Focus on whatever we do now is so important

Even the ISB and IIM guys are seeing dip in salaries or a total freeze on all perks. The economy is not bound to pick up at all. This is the right time to focus and save money in all ways. Similarly, when the virus is gone after nine months or so, the jobs will be back. When lockdown are lifted a bit, it does make sence to do short-term courses in cloud computing, machine learning,SAP and so on. Housewives could even do the short term courses in bakery or jewellery design and the like.

A big focus on doing what is really required is the need of the hour. Value-addition does help a great deal. Investments in mutual funds are not advisable now. These are good only when the economy is back to its original shape of growth. We all need to make money when the scare is totally gone. We need skill-sets and this requires a big focus.

You have chosen a very good topic. Due to not saving, many families are facing economic downturn, should fulfill their hobbies and needs in life, but should also take care of saving.

In today's era, saving is very important for all of us because it is important for us to keep pace with the changing nature of the era. At the same time, it is also important to save your hard-earned money from extravagance.

Time never comes by saying, so we should be prepared in advance for both good and bad times, so that it does not come to such an extent that we have to spread hands in front of someone for money.

It takes a lot of time to earn money, but it takes less than two minutes to lose it. If you want to protect your money, then you have to make a budget. Initially you will find this work very difficult but gradually you will get used to it.

In this dreadful time of Corona, where people have started giving importance to cleanliness, I hope that people have understood the importance of saving and have prepared themselves positively for the coming time.

A good thread by the author and it motivates us to go for value addition as well as manage the show in present crisis. Saving is a good habit and it comes handy in such difficult situations. As regards the acquisition of short term skill based courses, it is a very good idea in these times as it would not only help in passing the time but would also help in acquiring knowledge in online mode just by sitting in the house. Recently, I was going through the Google site itself (local guide site and forums) where some free courses were mentioned for the beginners. Just out of curiosity I went through one of them and found it very interesting and useful. So, there are many sites which are offering free basic courses to the visitors just to attract them to the site and of course for advanced and premium courses, one has to pay the requisite fee. Anyway, the point is that for the beginners there are tremendous opportunities to increase their skills and that is of paramount importance in our lives.

Saving for future or emergency is what this pandemic has taught many people. Many had saved to future and can manage it well, there are some who could not save due to various reasons and are finding it hard even with basic expenses, there were some who lived a lavish life and now find it lost. The pandemic has taught a big lesson on the importance of saving to human.

Value-addition in any form i.e. knowledge, skills, short/long-term courses, etc is always an advantage not only on the resume but in one's life. Anything that we learn can be used now or at times when it will be needed. Every skill learned will always enhance you to be well prepared for the future. As many of us are locked in the four walls of our house, we can use it to learn new skills or course online that will uplift our skills in the present work or in things that we have passion.

We are really passing through the critical situation. On one hand, we notice the fast spread of the corona virus and on the hand, companies are trying to slash the production - price. Wherever there is the need to curtail man - power, they are doing it religiously and many employees have lost their jobs in the current situation.
Saving is definitely would prove to be handy to cater to the needs of the emerging situations. Of course, in the middle class family, children are always encouraged to inculcate the habit of saving irrespective of the timing. This is always a good lession but especially this time, they should be more particular because of the unpredictable financial situation lying ahead.

    Good advice from the author.
We have to utilise the time usefully to add skills to our candidature. These days jobs are available for special skills and if you improve your skills you will have higher chances to get a good job. So one should focus on improving their skills.
As mentioned by the author there is a dip in salaries in many companies. No company is giving any increment this year. Some companies are reducing salaries by 30%. This 2020 will be like this only. The virus will be hunting us and we should be careful. Whatever we are earning we should spend carefully and save some money for the coming days.
Things may improve once the Corona problem is over and the economy is on track. We all should be very wise in spending and see that we will not face any financial problem for the next 6 to 8 months.

Time again it is focused that the economy has taken the dip and it cannot return back. Everything is going to settle to normal and some time is required. For example the author may be seeing from the eyes of Tamil Nadu where in the lock down battered every section of the society because the state does not taken the main lock down seriously and now facing the tune of another lock down. By the way it is now believed that lock down cannot control the spread of virus and it is the people should change the attitude. Like a warning put inside the hotel that vehicles kept are at owners risk, and here the lives of the people must be left to mend their own ways as total lock down is costing state and central govt too much. Surely economy has already taken the situation and would be performing good to the satisfaction of all.
