Collaborative writing and research and it's importance to the education system

Can collaborative writing and research improve the way education and knowledge sharing is conducted across various social spheres. Can it improve the participatory rate of students opting for higher education. Also can such books, platforms etc be incentivized?

Definitely. It is good for the organisations, institutes and the people involved in it. Collaborative research by the industry and the universities is going to shape the students as useful material for society. The academicians who have a very good bookish knowledge will know the theory part very well. But the persons working in an industry will know how the knowledge they gained will be useful to the industry and how you can adapt your education for the benefit of the industry. So if these two people combinedly work and write that outcome will be very good to the students. If these two collectively makes the curriculum for the courses the education imparted will come in handy for the industry. The students who come out of the colleges can be useful to the industry. This has been discussed much time at various platforms and I think the present t changes that are being talked about our education system may go in this direction.

Yes, I think it will work. As we all know Collaborative writing and research are group work, it will create new ideas for all and also helps to work fast. It will make big changes in the education system. When one or more people write together they share their values with their experiences so finally what we find is the conclusions of ideas of all them in simple ways.

Individual study is for the individual aspirations and ones own growth potential. Collaborative and collective projects give an organisational feeling to the project undertaken by the group. I remember long back I attended a training in which we were asked to make 4-5 groups containing 6 people each and were given a project to be completed in a weeks time. That was the first experience for me to do something collectively and to my surprise it was entirely different than what I used to do myself. Suddenly one leader emerged within our group and started to dictate the things but another one cut his wings by telling that project would be done in a collaborative way and not the way that individual wanted. So, all these things happened and we finally learned the way how something can be done in that collective fashion. It is definitely a better way of attempting projects and even in education this approach should be adopted in a big way.
    Knowledge is power.

Nowadays, already in many educational colleges or institutes such group discussions and collaborative projects are common and only thing is we might have to give more emphasis on these aspects now.
    Thoughts exchanged is knowledge gained.
