    My poem goes here

When India celebrates its 74th Independence day
the people get reminded about sacrifices and valor of those day
With no communication at the outset
people joined the movement with fixed mindset
There were no inducements or largess for the people
they joined on their own and stood at front line
People were so committed and dedicated
they wanted to see Britishers truncated

The freedom fighting was done with many in the poverty
but that would not deter our cause of enmity
Old, young and youth were participated
But it were women who stood strong and powered
On this day we are all duty bound to think of every freedom fighter
Nothing can do except say Jai ho Jai ho with our voice mightier

    My entry:

    Faith in ourselves

    Dressing up in Indian tricolour,
    Speaks loud and clear:
Indians believe in love and care,
So, leave us as we are,
    'Coz pushing us too far
Would bring you down on knees forever.

Living in free India is our right,
Stay away from showing your might,
Else, you would be responsible for your ill plight,
'Coz Indians know how to fight,
    And, would once again write,
    Its success story quite bright.

My quick poem for the PhC#2 Contest

    Today is my lovely birthday
It coincides with our Independence day.
Many brought their gifts to present
Yet one of my good friend was absent
I waited for her arrival to cut the cake
All waited with their cameras for a take.

    Better late than never
Oh! My friend arrived late with a bag
Opened and took out a national flag
Said "Sun, wish you a Happy birthday
On our India's 74th Independence day.

Presented me a T-shirt with Indian tricolour
The saffron, white ,green and blue to favour
All cameras flashed the shirt with bright light
O My God, Jai Ho, it was a great moment to delight.

    No life without Sun

    My poem :

    Colourful, brightful
    Sing along mindful

Be proud to be an Indian
See the light throughout the night

    Let's be the warriors
    To fight against the fright

    Purity in our hearts
    Join your thoughts

Let there be storm, flood or
    the evil's spearing sight

We will never forget to celebrate
    our independence day

    As it is our right
    to make it bright

    Jai ho! Jai ho!

    Lead the leader

This is a small attempt from my side,

Be an Indian, proudly say I am an Indian
Buy Indian, show the world that India is the best
Respect the tricolour, Salute the freedom fighters
we owe our lives to them.
    Remember we have freedom
never forget the sacrifices of the freedom fighters
Be a part of the thanksgiving function at least once in a year
on the day of independence day.
Have the tricolour not only on your T-shirt
But also in your heart and say loudly
I love my India and Jai Hind.

    always confident

    My Poem for PhC#2

    We are moving forward,
    Having brightness in our eyes,
    India is leading the World
    With faith in our mind.

    Present is ours,
    Future is ours,
    Freedom was not easy,
    The tricolour reminds.

    Tricolors of India flag,
Symbol of courage, peace and growth,
    Heart of every Indian,
Saying together 'Jai Ho', 'Jai Ho.'

    Come-on India with full might,
We have fought it hard to root,
With three colours on our flag,
Let's stand united with a zag.
    Wearing my tri-colour T-shirt,
    Proudly walkthrough exert,
Let us wave the flag in the air,
    The freedom we see everywhere.

Our freedom-fighters fought with their might and many lost lives without their Quite,
Let it not go to waste by fighting within in the name of caste.
On our Seventy-fourth Independence day celebration,
Let us run our memory through our history,
Pay homage to every freedom fighter and their might,
Our national anthem Jan Gan Man on our lip,
Let's Bow down to our motherland in worship.

“The most important thing in life is to learn how to give out love, and to let it come in." — Morrie Schwartz
