Dhoni is one of the greatest cricketers in the country. Mahendra Singh Dhoni - a captain, a wicketkeeper, a batsman, a finisher, a leader, a mentor and everything ... made the generation crazy because Mahendra Singh Dhoni moved on to something different and new in every character For his distinguished contribution to Indian cricket, Dhoni received the prestigious Padma Shri award by the Government of India in 2009, the country's fourth highest civilian honor. By comparison, he has given India the most wins in ODI and Test cricket, and he is also the only captain to have won India consistently in ODIs and Test cricket. Dhoni was awarded the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award for success in the Australia series, which is the highest sporting honor of the country announced by the Government of India. Mahendra Singh Dhoni will not only be counted as a great captain, but also as a leader who gave freedom to his players to play freely and expressed confidence in them.

M S Dhoni, commonly known as Mr Cool is one of the few great cricketers produced by our country, India. He will be in the lists like Sunil Gavaskar, Kapil Dev, Rahul Dravid, Saurav and Tendulkar etc. His service to the cricket in General and India, in particular, is commendable. He used to play the game very calmly and used to encourage the player on the other side to play. Under his guidance, many Indian players performed well. He is a role model for many Indian players.
As a Captain, he is very successful and he helped his Captian Kohli a lot and contributed a lot for cricket in India. He never felt he is a senior player and he should not play under other junior players. He played under Kohli and helped him in taking some good decisions on the ground and off the ground also.
With his retirement, there will be a huge gap and I think nobody is there to fill the gap and perform like him. A down to earth person announced his retirement very quietly and no much show off for that. I wish him a long and prosperous life ahead.

Dhoni has been the most famous cricketer of this country and his humbleness approach with cool captain strides, he has been the most sought after captain in the world. He has proved to be a great cricketer for himself and also taking out the best from the others through his cool dealing techniques to which there was wholesome positive response from the co players and thus under his regime the country got many laurels and pride and also he took the game to new high of consistent winning stride. His sudden decision to retire from the International cricket has shocked everyone and here also he displayed his best character as he wanted to give others also a chance to play and bring glory to the country. None can equate him in any matter either playing shots, mannerism and above taking the people along with him without any controversy.
