    25 September - Antyodaya Diwas.

Antyodaya means raising the weaker sections of the society. On September 25, the birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay is celebrated throughout the country as Antodaya Day. Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay was a thinker, historian, and political activist. He supported integrated humanity, including ethics in politics and human-centered approach in economics. He supported indigenous and small scale industrialization. He was a supporter of the nationalist idea, he believed that it is not appropriate for India to blindly follow western ideology.

On this Antyodaya Diwas I call upon the parties to cut across their party lines and work for the betterment of weaker sections because what ever schemes and programs designed to uplift the weaker sections were hijacked and benefited by the middlemen and thus the poor and weakest in the society are unable to sustain their poverty and ending their lives suddenly. The good thoughts of the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay has to be invoked so that his ideals and envisaged programs must be implemented by all states because when we regard him the nationalist leader and statesman par excellence, then his teachings and preaching must be followed.

Where are leaders these days who are like Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay? In history, we have leaders who worked for the upliftment of the weaker sections of the society. They sacrificed their lives for the sake of the weaker sections of the society. That felt that all the leaders will be like them and made some provisions for their benefit. But later on, the leaders started using these issues for the self-promotions. But the real deserving cases are still suffering. We require more people like Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay
Let us hope the leaders of today will take him as a role model for them and work for the cause of weaker sections of the society. I wish people will try to contribute their best for the noble cause and see that all weaker section people will get the encouragement from the government and they will also have a better life.

There are few people who care for the uplifting of the poor. Most of the people are self centred and only bother about themselves. In such a situation we have some leaders who think for the welfare of the poor and work for it seriously. Deenadayal Upadhyaya was one such great leader who cared for the downtrodden and tried his best for their progress and prosperity. On this Antyodaya day we should get inspire and imbibe his ideology.
    Knowledge is power.
