Are you ready to trust an Ayurveda doctor perfoming surgery on you?

In a starling and baffling decision, the Union government has now allowed the Ayurveda doctors spread across the country to do surgeries on general, dental, Ent and other specialties. Though the Ayurveda doctors did surgeries in the past but that does not had the legal sanctions and now government felt the necessity to spread of doctors availability post covid recoveries and its after effects as there are paucity of regular doctors availability across the country. Are you ready to trust the new beginning of Ayurveda doctors performing surgery on you or other close people?

If an Ayurveda doctor during his 4 years Ayurveda course has learned the surgery and read it just like the MBBS doctor then only he is to be allowed for it otherwise it is simply a license to kill the people. I do not know what is the syllabus of 4 years Ayurveda doctor course in our country presently and whether those medical colleges are equipped with learning of surgeries or not. If they are alright then in that case only the new persons who are coming in Ayurveda practice after learning surgery should be allowed to do that and not the every Tom Dick and Harry.

BAMS is a medical degree in Ayurveda. In this course, they study medicine as well as surgery also. The full form of BAMS is Bachelor of Ayurvedic medicine and surgery. BAMS is designed to make students familiar with the concepts of Ayurveda and use it for the treatment of patients. Ayurveda will be taught with the concepts of modern medicines Such qualified people only may be given the chance to do the surgery. They will never permit doing surgery to RMPs or PMPs. I don't think there will be no worry. If a person is not sure, let him not go to a BAMS for surgery. No government will force you to get treated by a BAMS doctor. It is your personal decision.
Even in Ayurveda, there are MD and MS courses. A person who did MS in Ayurvedic surgery can definitely do surgery. These days nobody prefers an MBBS also for surgery. Every person wants to go to an MS only.
I have seen in villages even an RMP and a Pharmacist performing small surgeries even without giving anaesthesia to the patient.

First of all the confidence level of patients has to be created for surgeries by the Ayurveda doctors.
