My AdSense application still pending with Google!

Respected Webmasters, Managing Editor Ma'am, and senior Editors, I applied for AdSense through ISC on 30 May 2020. It has been more than six months till then, and I am yet to hear anything from Google. No mail at all. If I log in to my AdSense dashboard, I see the same message that I have been seeing for over six months now:

This usually takes a few days, but in some cases can take up to 2 weeks. We'll notify you when everything's ready. Then start earning money by placing ads.

Earlier, I requested a profile review in this thread.

Could you please offer any help/suggestion?
Alternatively, is it possible to use someone else's existing AdSense account (with his/her permission of course)? Will ISC approve/allow that?

Google Adsense sometimes takes a few months for approving the account as they have certain process to give priority to the applicants. They have a very precise way of knowing about the applicant in detailed and if someone violated their policies may be 4 years back then they take it also in cognisance and approve the account after a long wait. So if you get it in time it is ok otherwise one has to wait. I do not think that you can use someone's account for crediting your revenue. Such a thing is not practically possible due to the page address and your profile in the ISC. Once they find that one single account is being credited by 2-3 users they might withdraw that account and then they do not give a new account to the defaulter for another 6 years.
Please be careful with Adsense. They are the most precise masters in the web and catch everything which is intentionally or unintentionally done by us. Incidentally I got my Adsense approval in about 1 year.

The other AdSense in a relative's name is not being used anywhere in ISC/sister sites. Can't I still use it?

These days Adsense approval is taking a lot of time. I applied for the same. The message that is showing when I search for the status of my application, it is the same what the author mentioned. I stopped following it up. I have no expectations and let it takes own time.

    Poulami Bakshi,

I have referred this thread to Tony Sir. Maybe he could provide guidance.

    Poulami,
It is not question of ISC allowing it or not allowing it. You can't use someone's Adsense number for your revenue. There is difference between your name and your relative's name. There is difference between your email and relative's email. Adsense will catch you easily and debar for membership and account opening for next 5-6 years. One thing which can be done is let that relative become a member of ISC and start contributing and as he is already having Adsense account the revenue will go to his account.

    Knowledge is power.

    Vandana mam,
Can I apply for Adsense account?

  • #716566
    Sanchita Ranjan,

I would not advise you to apply now. You have not submitted any articles to date. There have been a few members who have received approval for AdSense through contributions in other sections, but this has been rare. Informative articles with detailed content and presented with good English have a better chance of getting approval. I would also suggest that you contribute to the various sections in a manner that would make you eligible for one of our major awards (a Wizard award for example). These two steps will get you all five green ticks to your AdSense profile (currently it is showing two red ticks for these two criteria). What is therefore required is for you to contribute on a consistent basis for some more months. Once you have about 15 to 20 good articles and good content in other sections such as our Ask Expert section, then you can raise a thread for a review again in the category of AdSense profile review in the forum. We will then check again and give our suggestions. Of course, there is no guarantee that on somebody's say-so you will for sure get AdSense approval!

[Note- I have answered your query here, but henceforth make it a point to raise your issues separately and not as a tag to another member's query. This is how sometimes queries get overlooked and take the original thread off-track]

    Poulami,

Perhaps you need to disassociate and apply again, but wait till Tony Sir responds here.

    Poulami,

Tony Sir is also unsure about why you have not got approval since Google's reasons for approving or not approving are quite hazy! Perhaps you could apply again after submitting some more articles related to academic content. If your relative has an account with ISC and an associated AdSense account, you can send a message to Tony Sir and ask if you can submit content through that relative's account here, but then that relative will be getting the earnings and not you. How will you segregate what comes from your contributions and from his/her contributions? It is best to have your own independent account and earnings.
