What a loose talk by a veteran old party leader!

A good old party leader of a party which ruled for many decades says that India could not even manufacture one single needle prior to 1947. He was rightly countered by a young guy asking who manufactured the swords and fighting weapons for the Kings ruled India for long and battled with other rulers.

Is it not a silly loose talk by a reputed veteran leader?

True. It appears to be a lose talk only. How a person can say that India has not manufactured even a needle before 1947. I have seen a movie in Telugu. In that, a political leader promises that he will see that an ocean will be brought to Hyderabad as there is no ocean in this city whereas Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh is having an Ocean. They think all the voters are brainless and they can talk about whatever they want. They should not forget that the public is also having a brain. But unfortunately, such political leaders also winning in the elections.
