The voter stamp should be Swastika and nothing else

The ongoing tussle to declare one pending result of Neredmet division of GHMC election proved to be challenge for govt and SEC as the court has now allowed the counting process be resumed after it was convinced to agree to the fact that the election staff made the mistake to order the voter stamp with other mark and not the customary Swastika to which we are accustomed. I want to know as how can this glaring mistake can take place and SEC cannot plead innocence in the matter and thus become the laughing stock for organizing the polls this way.

In recent elections in Hyderabad in some constituencies ballot papers were missing a few candidates and party symbol. It was complained by people. This problem was faced in Bihar elections also where RJD candidate and party symbol was missing in EVM.
Election commission needs to reshuffle their modus operandi.

True. This is very silly. How the State Election Commissions are doing such mistakes is not known. It shows a lack of sincerity in the employees working there. Making a rubber stamp is not a very big issue. They might have orders some excess rubber stamps also. At least oneday before the stamps that are going to be used might have been checked and those stamps where there is a different pattern of stamping might have been replaced with stamps having the original symbol. A very sorry state of affairs.
But if a different shape stamp is used also there should not be any problem and why the counting should be stopped? If it is not acceptable. they might have ordered for reelection with correct stamps and they continued the counting. But that also not happened. The court has to come in and finalise the issue. What about the capability of the SEC.

This is not a major issue. A stamp is only to mark. In the absence of a rubber stamp, a simple tick mark with a pen on the name of the candidate also would do. There cannot be any foul play with the varied rubber stamp. Anyhow, Election commission should have ensured the availability of one standard stamp.
