“Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all.”

Education is generally considered as developing cognitive skills. Cognitive skills help us to develop learning, thinking, and reasoning capabilities. We go to schools and colleges to learn and acquire degrees that will help us to lead our life. This type of education develops the mind only. Education is not complete unless we educate our heart which develops our personality. Educating the heart along with the mind helps us to understand the society around us. It helps us to develop as a social being capable of understanding the problems of the people around us and to find solutions to such problems. Thus the education of the mind is essential to develop human beings to build a society that is homogenous and harmonious. The system of education needs to educate the mind as well as the heart to make this world a happy place to live in.

Nice views emanating from the heart of the author and I do agree that the present education is the bookish knowledge only helpful to heap the pile up the academic certificates and when it comes to knowledge acquired and wisdom it is totally reverse and nil. Only yesterday PM Modi was also on the record that the Babus or the officers at the helm of affairs are not performing well and thereby affecting the very performance of the economy. It is true that these same officers competed with others and scored superlative marks against all odds and got into the higher post of administration.

A very nice quote by Aristotle. I completely agree with the author's point of view. We all believe that education is the basis of life and education is of utmost importance in the development of oneself in life as well as in the development of the entire human race which cannot be denied. Education cannot be limited only to the knowledge given in books, but the nature of education is so large that it cannot be tied to any one person, or a book, or even a subject. Perhaps the right path of learning is the right use of the art of learning in us. As the author said that education is related to both heart and mind, this is completely true. As long as we do not adopt education as a part of our life, we will not be able to take the right benefit of education and will restrict ourselves to books. do not bond yourself with any specific education trend and learn as much as you can from anywhere.
