The spoken words can't come back, yet people do not understand it.

A few days ago, during a speech by a Chief Minister of our country's state Uttarakhand, some such things were said by him that were related to the dressing sense of women, which led to their condemnation, and there was a lot of discussion on this in the media. But a few days later, again in another speech, the same chief minister again came out saying another objectionable thing.

The thing is that even when we are in an honorable position or not, but we should still maintain the dignity of our words. But if you ever say such things at a pace that does not seem appropriate in society, then we should try not to talk like this again.

Every person has his own thoughts and thinking for any particular matter and according to which one has the right to speak but the person should speak his words, keeping in mind the seriousness and dignity of the words because the words spoken can never be returned.

This was a viral news in the social media a few days back. It is true that we should have control on what we speak. It is very important aspect in our lives and it is said that we should speak only after thinking about it. There is a saying that weigh your tongue before you speak.
    Thoughts exchanged is knowledge gained.

He stated "Due to a lack of values, youngsters these days follow strange fashion trends and consider themselves to be big shots after wearing jeans ripped at the knees, while women also follow such trends. Youngsters go to the market to buy ripped jeans and if they do not find one, they cut their jeans using scissors."

    Context of this statement:

He said that once he was in a flight. His co-passenger was a young lady who was wearing boots, jeans ripped at the knees and several bangles in her hands with two children travelling with her.
He informed, "She runs an NGO, goes out in the society and has two children, but she wears jeans ripped at the knees. What values will she impart?".

His wife Rashni Tyagi has defended her husband and said," He said that women's participation is unprecedented in building the society and the country. It is the responsibility of the women of our country to save our cultural heritage, save our identity, save our costumes,".

Later CM clarified that he himself is the father of a girl and all girls are like his daughters.

I think (indian) women who are criticising him are fond of western culture instead of indian culture because ripped jeans is not the part of indian culture. However, they are free to choose what they like for themselves. And there is no limit of freedom of attire in western culture.

    Be indian and buy Indian.

The words we speak should not hurt others. We can see that some people react very badly to even the smallest things. One among them is the Chief Minister mentioned by the author. After all, saying that he has a daughter and so on does not erase what has been said before. We've seen some people wrap up very vulgar double-meaning words with even in some comments that seem innocent. Some people show some physical gestures (gesticulate with eyes and hands) after such double-meaning word comments. Listeners who take in its comedy version enjoy it with great laughter and cheer. Then the preacher thinks that he has risen a little higher but the wise in the audience are measuring the quality of the preacher. Bad words come out of the tongue from a distorted mind. Bad language is often used to humiliate an opponent when he or she is angry or unable to answer an opponent's questions. Those who thrive in high positions should use the words by weighing. If not, their place in the minds of others will fall to the floor and shatter.

Those who are in high positions and especially those who have the responsibility of governing the state should be very cautious while talking or giving statement because the opposition would be watching their every moves and even small slip of tongue would be blow out of proportion and get into trouble. And those who talk about the women and girls are taken to task immediately as the social media is more vibrant these days. And the same person cannot deny that he has not talked as such as videos are viral already and the apology from him would be the last resort. There fore what the author said holds good.

A slip of the tongue is very dangerous. Some times we utter some words which will hurt the feelings of others. We may not realise the problem when we are in a different mood. But after some time we think we ourselves may feel that we might not have uttered those words. Even though we say sorry the other persons will not become normal. An injury to the body may get cured but an injury to the brain may not get cured easily. So one should mind their words always. I have seen some people who are in authority use very bad language when they talk or write. They should know that those words will make the other person very annoyed.

Any liquid poured down cannot taken back even a drop. Similar to that the spoken words cannot get back on any account. That too the harsh words once hurt never forgotten. So it is necessary to one to use our tongue wisely.
A king announced he would offer his daughter got married if any one bring the greatest thing as well worst thing to the courtyard. Many brought many things but the king was not got satisfied. At last a man with poor disguise brought a covered plate and on opening, the king found a tongue on the plate, the King asked how it is great. The man explained the King that the tongue could make any magic if utilized wisely. Appreciated King opened the plate in which the worst thing kept. That plate also found with a tongue. Asked king was got answered by the man that the same tongue could drag a man down to any level if used badly. Even a king become poor or poor can become king with the tongue.
In Thirukkural, Thiruvalluvar, clearly told as, Theeyinal sutta pun ullaarum aaraathE Naavinaal sutta vadu (Thirukkural - 129) which means the mark of fire could get vanished but the spilled words cannot get back.
Similarly in 127, yakkaavaraayinum naakaakka, kaavaakkal sokaappar sollizhukkup pattu means, Thiruvalluvar explains that one should keep his tongue controlled otherwise he will meet consequences badly.
