Let try to tap temple sources for community kitchens

The best ever example of a fabulous temple that really serves the poor and the rich alike is the Sri Venkateswara temple at Tirupathi, where the devotees are fed every day.

Very soon, that is, within the next 15 days, our normal lives will be disrupted a lot, and the really poor and downtrodden, like the construction labor, will be badly hit. They really need our support and it is our duty to really help the poor. In this regard, temple funds that are outside the purview of the State agencies can be utilized with some community support, to set up community kitchens to feed the very poor, for the next four months, when the virus will gather intensity.

The IT guys who have not been affected thus far can also chip in and the Rotract and Lions Club and the others can also chip in with their money. The corrupt politicians, who have made millions of black money should at least change their attitudes a little bit and use that black money to feed the poor.
