A disappointed fan with T20 performance

Gone are the days when Indian begin to celebrate each and every ball hitting the boundary.
Today we are in a condition that it is difficult to increase runs. Players who perform show well during IPL what happens to them when it comes to international matches.
I know stakes are high in world cup matches and pressure too but as a fan one feels very disheartened and disappointed seeing one's own team getting beaten down.
I miss those days when the Indian team played so well. Today whole internet is filled with cricket memes only, first a game lost against Pakistan and now against Newzeland also not much chances of winning.

Very very upset over the performance of Indian team which never thought that 130 crore people are eagerly watching their every move and their one mistake would cause loss of match and prestige of country at the stake. Right from the first match the seriousness and eager to outsmart the opponent has been lost and by losing to Pakistan, the boys seems to have lost the energy to fight other teams. Now the very chance of entry to semis has been bleak and even the team being thrown out of tournament is not ruled out. Pathetic performance from the boys who seems to be concentrating more enjoyment with their family members and not discussing plans as to how to outsmart the opponent players. The fans are getting into angry mode and Indian team has to face the hostile crowd when they return back and we have the reason to punish them.

With regard to sports, one should not get disheartened, disappointed or frustrated. The victory or defeat should be taken with the right sportsman spirit. Victory and defeat are not determined earlier. No team will think of defeat and play. We should take it easy and encourage the team that had the ability but could not win.

Indian team is not coming up to the expectations of the fans of the country. Winning and losing are the two faces in the game. We may not be able to win all the matches. But how much fight we have given even though we lost is important. But Indian time is not putting up any fight and simply they are surrendering themselves. That is the reason which is causing more worry. The margins with which they are losing speaks about this. Pakistan won the matches with 10 wickets and Newzeland won the match with 9 wickets. This show how easily we are giving away the matches to the opponents. There is no chance for the team this time to reach the semifinals also.
IPL matches may be more profitable to the players. That is why they are playing well there. But in these official matches, they are not showing that much interest. We have a big batting lineup but are not able to score at least 15o runs in twenty overs. But the opponents are managing those runs very easily. Toss also is not favouring our country. Anyhow a very bad performance from the Indian team this time.

Sun, we know the capacity of our team and they did wonders in the past against formidable teams. But the way two matches lost and no chance going to further matches seals the fate of game.

It's a part of the game and it can happen to any team. Sometimes for a couple of matches or a series the team plays badly and then again things become as usual. There may be some disappointment at the beginning but there is no point in keeping the feeling the disappointment. One team will lose and the better-playing team will win. That's what had happened in the matches. When the players can accept the defeat and continue playing the next game the fans also can do that. Let's not encourage comments and mindless remarks of others.

It's just a game. Every Indian would love to win, and it includes the Indian players too. They work hard before every tournament not to get defeated. At times it happens. In every exam, neither we always pass nor fail. If we are ready to ignore our poor result, and work hard for the next exam, then why can't we accept the defeat of our cricket team with a sportsman spirit? Yes, It was undoubtedly a disheartened performance, but by saying so, we cannot demean the players because they feel dejected more than their countrymen. Let's motivate them and not demoralise them like the trollers are doing. Every time India cannot win, it's natural so let's be patient and wish for the best.
