We are deeply attached to celebrate any party which we are enjoying years together and the same is applicable to Christmas and New Year Party. Celebration of such parties with our families and friends multiply our happiness but the the current situation where there is the chance of spreading fast of the omicron virus at a faster rate, we should not go ahead with the party celebration till normalisation restores. Rather we should follow all such protocols being followed previously for COVID-19. We need to take enough precautions for our safety with the inoculation of the vaccination if not taken earlier. Hope we would overcome the present crisis with the observance of safety compliance related to this virus.

It is better to be celebrating the festivals virtually online from the houses only. It is not advisable to go for big gatherings as the chances of new variant spreading across appears to be high. Already income countries more than lakh cases are being detected. So far in India, that much spreading is not there. So we should not take a risk. Irrespective of the decision from the government, as individuals we should take our own decisions and follow the social distance rule and avoid going to gatherings. If all follow this there is no necessity for any decisions from the government. We should congratulate the Delhi Chief Minister for banning celebrations in open for New Year and Christams. I feel the other states should also follow the same procedure and ban the celebrations.

Since these two festivities are once in a year gatherings, the ban many may not agree.

For last one and half year people were not going out due to the threat of pandemic and the entertainment industry suffered a lot because of that. People also missed the fun and frolic of the festivals and other functions. After the end of the second wave people were thinking that they will celebrate the coming festivals one by one but unfortunately the third wave is showing its signatures worldwide in various intensities and we are hearing about increase of the cases in our country also.
The spread of corona is such a thing that in the initial few days people don't realise the threat but when it starts multiplying rapidly in a geometric progression then it becomes very difficult to control and contain it. In such a situation it is imperative that we must take some safety measures well before the time so that the virus remains contained in small pockets here and there.
In view of the above it is necessary that all the coming festivals and functions should be cancelled and only essential services should be maintained.

    Knowledge is power.
