I am not very clear about the message what the author wants to convey. When you want to be a winner you can't select random things. We should select issues which we can handle and we are sure of completing the issue properly only. Once we do such things successfully, we will get a name as a performer. Once you get recognition as a performer, you can try some odd issues also. Even odd issues also, you should attempt with full faith and with a very good plan and approach. If you select an issue that is new to you and if you are not able to make it a success, you will not get any recognition and you will be stamped as a nonperformer. Once that stamp comes on you, coming out of that marking is very difficult. So do the things properly and get identified as a performer.
Once we get recognition as a performer, sometimes in between if you fail also, you may not get a bad name. People will remember your earlier works and support you during difficult times.
