For that matter IPL has been designed to benefit huge the individual players based on their past performance, present form and future expectations. So they have to take time for IPL and participate in bidding otherwise they are lost. Since the IPL has been organized by the Indian cricket board, there is no issues from the foreign boards which knows the decency and decorum and even the reputation of our board. Our IPL is duly governed by the rule of BCCI and that is why the game is trusted. Regarding foreign players earning in crores and when it is converted to their country currencies, that would be pittance to which India cannot be held responsible. The players can open Indian bank account. Money makes many thing and if a player is in form then IPL is the great platform to showcase the talent and mint money.

Foreign or Indian players will work for money. When there is a chance for them to get more money they will take up the best assignments so that they will earn money. They have to make hay while the sun shines. After a few years, nobody will look at them give them and ask them to play. All cricket boards should take care of the needs of the players. Their existence is completely dependent on players only. Nobody will go against them and they will schedule their games in such a way that there will not be any problem with IPL. Definitely, BCCI will play a big role in IPL if not on the scene, behind the screen. Without the support of BCCI and its officials, such a big event can not be possible in India. The money that the foreign players are getting may be very good for them and they may not be having any other option to get that money and that is why they are preferring playing IPL. IPL is an event involving huge money and many things may be having behind the screen which may not come to the notice of the public.

The author has raised some thought provoking questions which cannot be answered so easily until and unless one is well aware of the internal matters of IPL and the interest of players in it from different different angles. We must understand that whenever there is some earning opportunity whether it is less money or more money or very big money interested parties and individuals will jump in and join the wagon. Sometimes the results may not match with the expected one but sometimes it would be much more than what was expected by the players. Moreover by participating in the process the players get opportunity to earn from advertisements and then their chances for getting other advertisements that is other than IPL increase. IPL is a great show business and we do not know the intricacies in it from financial and other aspects. There is a tendency of people joining the latest fad and passion in the sports or movies or any other entertaining thing.

Q 1: It all depends on the schedule of the matches. If there are no scheduled international matches during that time they take part here in the league.
Q 2: It all depends on the respective boards whether to let its players participate in any kind of leagues. If some players have injuries they won't be able to play in any type of game. All such things are governed by the contracts between the cricket boards and the players.
Q 3: The BCCI started the league in 2008 and they are the administrator.
Q 4: The amount is in INR so foreign players need to convert their earnings and hence the earned amount is according to the rate of conversion. The players are interested because they get quick money in the shortest possible time.
