To impress the local voters and to increase the number of followers one can always fume on the existing Prime Minister and project the image of PM as a failure rather than success. Many local leaders resort to such tactics to make a place in local population and surprisingly people follow them and even worship them. State level politics is always like that and the local leaders generally do not come out of that narrow thinking.
India's vaccine program was very aggressive and was conducted in a fast pace and the whole world has taken its cognizance. Not only Bill Gates but there are many important persons and many governments abroad who have praised and presented accolades for this great achievement of India under the leadership of the present PM.
Every regime has some shortcomings and the present regime is no exception. But we cannot dismiss the excellent work done for making the vaccines available in such a less time.
Knowledge is power.

KTR might have announced this as the vaccine development was carried out in Hyderabad, the capital of Telangana, Their party is ruling this state. So he wanted to take that credit for his government more than the central government. Why will he say and praise the central government for this? His father and the CM of the state is making all sorts of allegation against the Central government. So in any case KCR or KTR or any other minister of those states will never give credit to PM. They may say that we might have come out with this vaccine much earlier but due to hindrance from the Central government. Expecting them to give credit to the BJP government at the centre at this particular time is in no way correct I think. Anyhow, we can wait and see what is he going to do in the next couple of days.
