Non-BJP leaders, please unite and save this country

One famous CM of a Southern State has been voted as the best CM of India. This gentleman, the son of one of the greatest and late leaders of the particular State, had gone to another city, but landed at around 12 AM midnight, after his tour. He went straight from the airport and waited till the giant motors totally pumped out the entire rainwater that had collected in that particular area of the metropolis, the fourth largest city of India, in terms of area.

The next day, a leader of the Opposition party, the one that rules India, was silent. He had done a photo-op a few days ago, in shallow waters and was the subject of the worst ridicule. He claims to be a former IPS officer, but God only knows how he became one in the first place.

The name of the best leader is not mentioned here. But Members will immediately recognize him. It is really a moment of truth. This leader, along with KCR, Jagan Modan Reddy, and Mamata Bannerjee, has to come together, possibly trying to rope in Aravind Kejriwal as well, and take on the BJP. And of course, all such attempts should include Congress. There are systematic attempts made to even ridicule a leader of the stature of the late Jawaharlal Nehru, but today's leaders are not even 20% of such a leader. He was a world leader par excellence. It is ridiculous to compare today's leaders with Jawaharlal Nehru.

If the ruling BJP continues to rule this country, we will soon lose the status of a democracy. It will be a straight fight against the cancer called communism.

We should live peacefully in our country and tolerate other people and their religions. We should aim at what is called universal brotherhood. This can happen only if the BJP is defeated once and for all forever and made irrelevant in India.

In fact for BJP to go further strong, there need to be equitable force and party that can single handedly check the surge of BJP but that is not going to happen. While what the author has been talking about regional parties forming as the splinter group with only agenda to oust the BJP. By the way the BJP has all the history and misgivings of the leaders and parties which wants to fight against it. And no state can function with hostility attitude on BJP. Just imagine when the party with just two MP's was the history , today the BJP is having 300 MPs of its own that shows formidable spread and growth and there is no second party to oppose it and the Congress has gone to hell with infighting and G 23 group which is now dictating terms to Gandhis. So splinter groups cannot take on mighty BJP and the author dream would not succeed.

Jagan Mohan Reddy is making AP a state of his religion. I don't how the author suggested this man also in the combination. Now, Mamata Banerjee, KCR and Aravind are the contenders for the PM post and the fourth one will be the CM whose name has not been mentioned will be also a contender. If at all they come to power we will have five or 4 PMs, not one. It is not I and the author who can decide who will come to power and the voters have to vote for that alliance. First, let's them find out what the people want. KCR made a lot of noise before the assembly results were declared and after the declaration of results, he has become silent.
Hope the wish of the author will be fulfilled at least in the 2029 elections if not in the 2024 elections. The mood of the voter is going to decide fate. Let us wait and see what is going to happen.
What is happening in Congress party is also not known.

The author must know that the voters are heavily polarized and wants a performing govt. Whether it is state or the center, those who work for the people are cared and continued and others are shown the way out. If BJP proves to be non performer in the minds of voter they will send the party packing, but author has no reason to one good cause as to why BJP is worst than other parties which are nothing but family parties working to upscale their wealth and not for upliftment of the society. Key positions are enjoyed by them and even the ministers has to go through the channel of CM approval of every project concerning to their ministry.

I have already mentioned this in a separate thread. All self-serving, head-to-toe corrupt opposition leaders must start working at the right earnest to get united for the 2029 election.

Yes Partha, what you said is right, as all the corrupt leaders want to unite but have their own selfish ends cannot fight BJP which is clean and even Congress could not establish corruption against the Modi govt.

An interesting thread raised by the author. It is very true that opposition should unite if they want to remove BJP from power. But problem with opposition is that every party wants that there leader should become the PM of the country. So there is a great scramble in opposition for the national leadership and every leader who is successful at the state level starts dreaming about becoming the PM of this great democracy. Another aspect to this confusion is that these opposition leaders do not want to cooperate with the existing regime even in the logical and rational things that the ruling regime is proposing. So this is a very sorry state of the affair that we would not cooperate in any way until we become the PM. So the call to opposition to unite is going in the hollow ears. We must understand that the change in regime is not going to bring prosperity and what is required is improvement in the working of the existing regime. Let us hope things improve further and everyone starts cooperating with the correct things proposed by the existing regime.
    Knowledge is power.

Partha Sir, your response @ 754082 looks like your response in another thread about 36 Muslim MLAs in Uttar Pradesh Assembly. Why the mention of the cost of182 crores of vaccine doses without any context with the content of the thread or the responses that followed?
