Looks like the fashions are back again in all weddings

The COVID period had halted big marriages. No dancing and no big shows as well. Today, we have a situation where the norms are relaxed. Women are having a grand gala time. Very recently I attended a Tamil Brahmin wedding. It was an arranged marriage.

The young women wore the best of dresses and the men were so happy sporting the latest hairstyles of a Tamil movie actor. The middle-aged women were clearly those who would have spent quite a lot of money in the nearest beauty parlors.

In 2022, at least at the moment, good times are back in the weddings. The spread of food included the North Indian vegetarian options. So, the fashion of celebrating grand weddings is back again.

Well, fashions are back in weddings as clothes, food, dance and whatever.

The functions like marriage are the best times for fashion and flaunting ones clothes or ornaments. Everyone wears ones best dress or even new dress on these occasions. People also flaunt their personal gadgets like costly smartphones etc. Due to Covid for last 2 years the group activities were at the low ebb but slowly the things are coming back to normal and people are visiting the spas and saloons for their personal get up and enhancement of their outward beauty. Men and women alike are going for it and presenting themselves in these grand functions. The people who have sufficient money are spending a lot on personal get up and by spending money one can get all sort of services in this regard. In one way it is better because many people are getting employment also due to this demand of beauticians and saloon persons.

Knowledge is power.

What the author said is right. The weddings have become fashionable and more interestingly poised for greater thoughts as themes were introduced to which event managements are working hard to make the wedding the grand success to be talked about in future. Only two days back I had been to a wedding of a doctor groom where in the welcome was made through the dancers imported from Vijayawada and the welcome of bride was on palanquin with the bearers dancing to tune of loud music and the girl was exited to seen the guests and well wishers applauding and hooting her as she shakes legs and lands from the top. All these are good for the bride and groom who will see their wedding as memorable down the years. But what about food, it was worse and no takers as the items were more, taste was horrible and none to account for.

No COVID protocols now. No restrictions on gatherings. Cinema halls are running at full capacity. Shared autos are travelling with people packed inside. That too without any masks. Now functions and celebrations restarted on the full scale. No marriage hall is vacant and all are booked. A woman will get a chance to show her dress collection and ornament collection.
As mentioned by the author, these functions are the only outlets for housewives to show their fashion statements. For the last 2 years, no marriages are performed with big gatherings. Recently clearance has been given and marriages are happening with original flavour. So all people started attending and we have good entertainment. Recently I attended a marriage and almost 300 members and old flavour have come back. So we will witness many marriages this year and we see ladies and children in different fashions and make the people attend there happy.
