Why so much money is wasted in the form of museums, Statues e.t.c which are not useful for anyone?

As India is not a developed country a poor country where money is wasted on nonpriority things that money can use for different purposes. for example the items like statues with crores of rupees on roads and museums of ex-prime ministers e.t.c. all these are public money being wasted. Why so much money is wasted in the form of museums, Statues e.t.c which are not used for anything? Why so much money is wasted in the form of museums, Statues e.t.c which are not useful to anyone?

India is the vibrant democracy and it was ruled by many stalwarts as the Prime Minister and their each contributions speaks about their inclusive understanding of the situation and how they performed and excelled under the completions and yet kept the fabric of secularism growing and kept in tact. In that case to know further about the great former Prime Ministers, the museum has been necessitated show that future citizens would be known about them. It is the tribute by the people , for the people and of the people and therefore we cannot find fault with such expenses. When NTR wasted and erected 36 statues on Tank Bund there was criticism like this and today even TRS has been respecting the poets and stalwarts of AP for their contributions to the Telugu culture and thus retained. So we should not object.

One way the author is correct. Many statues in the middle of the streets and junctions of almost all the villages, towns, cities and metros. No one cares about those statues. Just one day before the birthday of that leader somebody will clean and on the birthday of that leader the present leader come and garland and the story is over. Again the turn for that statue will come after a year only. Birds will be spoiling these statues and nobody cares. Some statues will get partially broken and nobody will get them repaired immediately.
But regarding museums, I have a different opinion. They are required to convey the history of the country and the development that took place during various phases in the country. But these museums should be maintained properly and attract tourists so that they will get good money in return.

Please do not compare the statues erected at the road signals, road junctions which are only to please the vote bank politics of minorities and downtrodden and nothing worship about it, but the ones at museum are of Indian stalwarts.

Statues with 1000 crores or more than 500 crores or 150 crores are no use even Museums are also waste. Once a Telugu poet named Ballari Raghava said a king after death will live on statues where a poet will stay in people's hearts. If any prime minister did a good thing in their tenure they are already in people's hearts no other place is greater than that. Still, if you are more frantic a TV program or a dias-based (event) program or a book release on that renowned politician on the eve of their birthday is enough.

I have a request from the author here.

Imagine your past suddenly went blank and your present records of happenings also began to disappear before those came to your realization. Have you ever thought of what would happen to you then? If you do not know what was your past and there is no realization of what is taking place within and around you, what do you think how would you plan to live in the future?

Author forget the heredity and culture of our own country. He is not viewing the things for the younger generations. As many over-thinking persons telling that the children should grow with the difficulties of parents and some people tells children should not given noticed the difficulties of parents as it will affect their education and motto. Similarly
many people arguing that the history of Kings, British Rulers, Independence efforts etc,., should be removed from history subject as they have no usage to them. But if it is the case how our young Indians expected to have patriotism and so only they are moving to foreign countries for education and employment,
Similarly the museums, monumental 'sound and light' shows are worth to see for us especially for children. Parents should never hesitate to take them to such places and enrich their knowledge more and more about our own country.
One can know the importance and value of such museums only after visiting such places with a view to enriching the knowledge of youngsters not for the withering leaves.

"Statues with 1000 crores or more than 500 crores or 150 crores are no use even Museums are also waste."

The author is considering only the single or the individual aspect of any particular entity and not the associated impacts on individuals and society as a whole because and for an instance considering the statue of Sardar Patel is one thing because for sure this would not have useful benefits until we witness it in a combination of other factors.

Former Prime Ministers and politicians are not social activists, have never worked for charities, and have never worked for free. even though they said they will take a monthly salary of 1 rupee during their tenure as a CM or PM, but at the back door, they allegedly plundered the crores of rupees and the prime minister that politicians should have or charged them with illegal money and crime. Stated. Even if you want to remember and preserve the history of these politicians, you shouldn't waste too much money on museums and statues. The cost of the statue is less than 30 crores, but it plundered 150 crores of public funds. Similarly, there is no evidence of how much money is being looted in 500 and 1000 crores statues and museums, all imported from China, even if they do not hire locals.

All of these are events drawn from the tides of developed countries. They do these things because they don't know how to waste money in the name of pride and heritage they will do these things. India is following in the same footsteps and will fail miserably in the maintenance and economic conditions of the country. Respecting all cents is my last word.
