When the change is inevitable, we cannot lag behind

Right from the childhood till today the transformation that took place around me was baffling, not that I am witness to those happenings but I was also carried along with the system that changed over the period of 60 years, When we are doing schooling the meter gauge trains were running with steam engine of 6 coaches and there would be huge smoke and pollution as and when the train passed through our station. And those engines could not pull goods trains of 60 coaches and thus limited carriage goods trains were operated. Then came the diesel engines which were good but also emanated the smoke while going in speed. And the pulling capacity was good but the compartments used to give lots of shake being on the meter gauge. Then the transformation of meter gauge to broad gauge has been done and the bigger version of engines were made to operate to pull 21 passenger coaches. Then came the DEMU- the diesel hauled Multiple units and that was famous for having vestibule facilities between the coaches. And now we are enjoying the engines with power and the speed is formidable and there is no breakdown of service at any time. So the transformation in Railways was inevitable and we are also part of that great phase of happenings.

Change is inevitable. It will be happening continuously. Always for betterment only. We all should cope with the changes and see that we will not lag behind. A software engineer who is working in a good company should update himself with new developments and then only he can go with the changes that are happening in that area. Like this, all should run with the changes making amendments in their ways and see that they will never lag behind. The author is very correct in his thoughts. A good submission from the author.

Changes do occur. Our generation is lucky to have witnessed a new era, the era of computers and the internet. We have seen many scientific and technological developments that were unimaginable. We will soon have the bullet train, which will travel 320 kilometers per hour between Mumbai and Ahmedabad. Before the computerized railway reservation system, we used to stand in long queues and depend on the clerk sitting behind the reservation window.
Let us encourage each other in sharing knowledge.

Changes will happen in the technology, society, way of living, and relationships between the various entities and it will affect everyone who comes in contact with all those changes. We cannot separate out ourselves from those changes and would be swept away with them in their forceful stream. Most of us will try to align ourselves in accordance with those new things and that is the only way to survive in the changing system.
    Knowledge is power.
