Hope Chennai does not see a repeat of 2015

Due to maladministration of the previous AIADMK regime, the entire city of Chennai saw flash floods, where millions starved for food. Helicopters had to drop food packets and hundreds of volunteers from across the country came to help. Yet, it took more than three weeks for the situation to become normal.

The present DMK party has a fabulous pro-active CM, who works 19 hours per day. He is always with the common man, day in and day out. People also recognize that for him to do some good. he should raise revenue by raising some taxes. The electricity charges have increased but people have accepted it as a fact of life.

The storm water drainage system is now sought to be made perfect and the CM is right in the center of action. Even last year, at 2AM in the wee hours of the morning, he personally supervised operations to suck out rain water from many places. He has already won millions of hearts. Let us hope Chennai does not see another 2015.

The administration seems to be lot more prepared now. Let us hope for the very best.

The responsibility towards this goal also in the hands of public also besides arguing the duty of the Government. We should not dump our garbage on the road to the possible extent so as not to blockade the drainage through which only the rainwater runs out. We should never expect everything from Government by doing mistakes from our side.
Especially spitting on the stagnated water on roads should be avoided totally by ourselves so as to make ourselves as reason or cause for epidemic diseases.
