Hi everyone, good to see some of you coming up with a good number of updates for the colleges and schools section. Mentioning here a few points that could go a long way in adding value to the sections if adhered to by us all. While submitting descriptive content please see that the information you submit is not generalized stuff, like mentioning the college has facilities like workshops, laboratories, cafeterias, etc. since it is true for every college. Submit information that is specific to the school/college. While it is good to have the affiliation of the college mentioned in the description also, we may not always give points or CC for the same, as it might be already mentioned in the post. It is suggested that while submitting descriptive content, you go through the website of the institution thoroughly and if given there, provide details covering aspects like location, infrastructure, facilities, extracurricular activities, admission process, placements, and so on.
Others who are submitting only the contact details of the institution they too need to take care of the following point. At times, we come across updates that provide partial information, mentioning just the website, even though the phone numbers, email IDs, etc. are also to be changed. So do see you give as much info as possible that in turn will fetch you better points and CC.
Meanwhile, the submission of updates is still on hold as the technical issue persists. Hopefully should be cleared in a day or two.
