    Employment and worries of employees

    Many employees feel dissatisfied with their employment by thinking of themselves well qualified than others.

    One story in this regard. A boy was getting ready himself for an employment. His father gave an old watch but in good condition by saying that it was his grand Father's. By seeing face change, father told him to approach some shops about the price as he is going to sell. He went to watch shop, the man at the shop ready to buy for 200 rupees. He went to a dealer dealing with antiques. He saw that watch and told the price as three thousand. He took the same to nearest museum for knowing the value. The in charge appreciated the watch and told the value would be more than a lakh and advised him not to loose. He returned to his father and narrated. Father replied,Son, similar to that, you have stick in employment where your capacity have been properly valued.'
    Like this we especially present youngsters analyse their capacity and employment, mere seeing the name and fame of company is not correct

    Author is right.We have to love the work, not the company.

    As long as we work, we should be sincere to the work, loyal to the company.

    In European countries we all are aware, pay for performance concept started.

    There is no permanent employment any more. The only survival technique is learn learn learn, increase of competancy level and ready to cope up with unforeseen situation.

    We all should be in a place where our work will be appreciated and our work will be useful to the organisation. Our ex-president and missile man of India suggested in one of his writings we should respect the work want we are doing and we should be loyal to the company but not to a person.
    Be loyal to the company and see that you will do justice to the role given to you. At the same time in some places, I have seen really worthy people will never be encouraged. We should never stick to that position. We should stick to a position where our worth is useful for the betterment of the organisation and at the same time our skills will get enhanced.
    An easy job will never give you any scope for improving your skills, An unused sword will get rusted. Always polishing will make it sharp. Similarly, our job should be in such a way that our knowledge will be getting enhanced day to day and we will become more knowledgeable.

    Every company treats its employees in a different fashion. An employee may consider himself very intelligent and capable but company will see it only as per his output and productivity. An employee should find out how the company treats him and switch over to other company if he feels that he is not being properly remunerated for his work performed in the company.
    A dynamic and progressive company will definitely select good people for its work and encourage and promote them so that they contribute more and more.
    A person seeking jobs in a company must keep these things in mind so that his worth is recognised by the company.

    Knowledge is power.

    The author has described the events between son and father regarding the value of the old watch and ultimately, the son learnt its price which was beyond his imagination. Now coming to the point regarding the value of an employee, the employer has a different perception of evaluating the efficiency of the employees. Though the employees might think themselves very intelligent and smart but the employers would assess their potentials in terms of their work skills. Accordingly, their perks and promotions are decided in the companies.
    The employers are equally sensitive and they try their best for motivation of the employees for getting best out of them and in that the productivity is raised. However such employees are rigidly screened out before they are rated efficient and capable. Mostly their output decide their capabilities.
