There will be a system and criteria to accord the test status for the cricket team of a country. ICC will follow that and accord the test status. Winning and losing is something different. When two teams are playing, one team has to lose and the other will win. If there is any system there for reviewing the status, that will be carried out and they will do the needful. Based on the present result how ICC can do that?
As of now, there are 12 countries having this test match playing status. Bangladesh is one among them. They are eligible for playing international test matches. Hope this country will improve its performance in the coming tournaments.

The way many national teams playing, we are in a confusing mentality how they given placement by ICC to play international cricket. These countries including SriLanka, Bangladesh, Zimbabwe and sometimes west indies. The notable point is, only just more than 10 countries are considering cricket seriously in world. We have to seriously think to stop watching cricket and it should replace other sports like football, athletics and hockey etc. Main point is sports like Football is playing almost all200 countries in the world. Also, many leagues are happening around the world. Our players can go and earn enough money and fame. But such opportunity is less in Cricket.

ICC awards member status as well as associate member status to various countries who have interest in cricket. ICC has got its own criteria to assess that and to accord the membership accordingly.
As I understand the status of Bangla Desh is that of a main member and not associate member. So it will enjoy the facilities of that status till ICC makes a change in that.
There are at present about 96 associate members and 12 main members totalling 108 in the register of ICC.

ICC only by money accord test status to Bangladesh. or by increase the viewership of cricket they have given this.They don't really deserve the test status

I would request you write to ICC regarding your concern about the Test rankings of Bangladesh. Members are giving their responses and every time you are countering them by mentioning your displeasure and sticking to your views. When you are willing to express your views about the test ranking of a certain cricket-playing nation you could have done it with various references in the post itself rather than a one or two-liner after the response of the members and that also without adding anything new to the post. This is not adding any flavour to the post and only shows your displeasure.

#767806 I completely agree with this. because Cricket is just a few countries that participated in this game in that half of the nation's cricket boards are supported by BCCI revenue like Pakistan, Sri Lanka, West Indies, and Bangladesh, Afghanistan. With IPL they are directly supporting the players financially. There is no point in viewing cricket because every time India will enter to semi-finals or finals in every event and lose the game. In that, an Indian cricketer will score thousands of runs and 100 centuries this happened to Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli now next is also the Indian cricketer.BCCI made a gentleman game as a fake game by introducing money into it. To keep the country's Integrity intact a person like Ravichandran Ashwin with his suited or limited cricketing abilities the pitch is or was tailor-made, (especially when playing India or subcontinent nations and in Australia(thanks to the IPL)) In alien conditions he will be an extra player bringing drinks and bananas...

I agree with Mr. Bhushan in this regard. The test status should have been withdrawn not only from Bangladesh, but also from Afghanistan and Ireland.

Every hard-earned money (at least some percentage) of the Bangladesh people is going to feed the Bangladesh Cricketers and they are not at all performing well against any team in their home conditions...It looks so pathetic... by seeing it on Social media...
