Present science proved already by India's Heritage
According to NASA, the distance of Sun from Earth has been defined recently as 'Earth orbits our Sun, a star. Earth is the third planet from the Sun at a distance of about 93 million miles that is nearly 150 million kilometres'.But our Indian Saint Tulsidas, who lived between 1511 and 1623, wrote a poem Hanuman Chalisa in Awadhi language. In his 18th verse says,' Yug sahastra yojan per bhanu, Leelyo taahi madhur phal janu'
1 yug is equal to 12000 years; 1 sahastra means 1000, 1 yojan is equal to 8 miles.
Accordingly, yug x sahastra x yojan equal to par bhanu calculated as 12000x1000x8 miles which is equal to 96,000,000 miles. Further one mile is equal to 1.6 kilo meters so, the distance between sun and earth is 96000000 x 106 kilometres (1,536,000,000 kilometers)
