The women who come to politics should feel safe

The sordid details of some honey traps being done by some individuals of a particular political party in Tamil Nadu have sent shock waves throughout the State. A fairly famous actor, who had acted in some Tamil movies, was trying to make an impact in the politics pertaining to that party, but she finds herself as the victim of some honey-trapping in that particular party.

We need to respect any woman who comes to politics. There have been a number of women who have proved very successful in politics, starting from the late Ms.Indira Gandhi, to the late Ms.Sushma Swaraj, who was a notable face of the party she represented.

We should give full protection to such politicians. We cannot go on hearing such bad news. The police and other arms of the State Governments should also act accordingly and protect women in politics. They should also feel safe.

Let us do our best to make them as safe as possible in politics.

Why only in politics, everywhere ladies should feel safe. That should be our motive and actions are to be taken in that direction. We are hearing much news about various incidents that are happening around involving ladies. We hear the film industry is also not safe for women. There should not be any fear for ladies to work in any field. That may be an ideal condition. The point of discussion is how that will happen and how that will be brought about.

There are many ladies who worked boldly in politics. We all know about our first lady Prime Minister Mrs. Indira Gandhi, who headed the government very boldly.

I don't know what is behind the issue the author highlighted. Unless we know all the details we can't say who is at fault. Let us see what the best Chief Minister of that State will do on this issue and what will be the reaction from the Central government.

Women working in other profession are safe. As per me there is safe or no safe is purely in the hands of an individual.

First of all women or men, having personal and professional life.

At any point of time,, no one is authorised to criticise /target any individual personally. This is applicable to not only women even men too.

Ours is the male dominated society. When it affects the ego or prestige of the male, talking personal life of an individual in the common platform. This is highly condemnable, objectionable.

As per me all ladies are all smart, intelligent. They all are good finance minister, external affairs in our houses handing things in a better way than males.

A change has to come from the gross root level of our education system. The insecurity of women in politics can be wiped out in any walks of life.

In our country couple of decades back women suits for teaching profession, govt jobs I.e 10 to 5 pm. Now for the past two decades women are independent and doing all kinds of jobs more than male.

In politics as such here and there women plays an active politics. The day is not far away young women emerge in politics and become a notable leader, we all can witness the same. For that a conducive atmosphere can be created by all. It is our social commitment.
