Book reading habit gives a twist and turn in everybody life

Our life is started from schooling where we learn to read and write. That reading habit should not end with school books reading. To encourage this recently all Government Schools are advising their students to use the Government Public Libraries for external reading. In many libraries there are sections for children books.
Mr. C. N. Annadurai, ex-chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, who was an educationist also, told once that the book reading makes one to visit the entire world by sitting in one place.
Another wise person told that while reading a book we can imagine ourselves merged in that situation. That is if a person reading that a king riding on a horse, the reader can imagine himself/herself as she/he is riding horse.
Children are to be taken to libraries by their parents and elders frequently so that on one day or another they will get a twist in their mind to turn themselves to the libraries in a regular way.
Recently in Chennai at YMCA grounds, 46th Book Fair is inaugurated by the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu from 6th to 22nd January 2023. Parents and elders should take their children to the Book Fair even for fun which may turn in their interest which leads a twist in their life, by seeing the numerous books on different topics.

The book reading will enhance our knowledge and wisdom. By reading some books we get new ideas to solve various problems we encounter in our life. When we solve such problems our life may take unexpected twists and turns. That way we can say that book reading will bring many twists and turns in our life. Probably this is what the author is having in his mind.
To inculcate the habit of reading in children we should see that they will be visiting libraries regularly and spend some time there. The parents should see that they get accustomed to reading.

Book reading is a healthy habits for all and though the kids would be immensely benefited with their regular readings of books of different domains drawn from public libraries. This time once lost cannot be compensated in other means. However the parents should ensure how best their kids are utilising their time. In this context, they should behave like role models with their indulgence in healthy readings of the books of notable writers. The kids are surely to follow their parents in context of reading books of the eminent writers.

Books are our great friends. They teach us so many things. Reading books is a very good hobby and one can accumulate a lot of knowledge through reading them in the course of time. It is said that reading opens our eyes, broadens our vision, and makes us prudent and wise. There is no substitute of reading.
Parents must inculcate this hobby in their children right from the school age so that they can later on in their lives get full advantage of that great hobby.

    Knowledge is power.
