    Star of the Decade Award Winners

    Yesterday we rewarded our Stars of ISC. Today it's time to reward two members who've been with us not for just five years or seven years or even eight, but a momentous decade+! Joining as members a year apart, they are both highly respected and continue to leave their indelible stamp.

    Join me as we appreciate the awesome twosome-
    1. KVRR
    He started with a wonderful statement, "We always live on the hope that the future will hold something good for us." in his very first forum thread wherein he suggested the implementation of a self-implemented code of conduct by electronic media, something that continues to be a relevant point, even more so, in fact, today. Here and there we saw a few articles penned, comments to other articles, a few colleges and courses, and some queries in the AE section. From that first thread, though, it is in the forum that we've seen his star shining bright. Don't look at those over 10k points that KVRR has ratcheted up in responding to threads; see the quality. We've seen how a response with just two sentences, and even one, can teach us the art of being to the point. After all, he is a teacher and we can learn a lot as his students!

    and then there is

    2. Venkiteswaran
    He gave us some very interesting articles. Know how to wisely select dishes from a restaurant menu and have a laugh over his Pi article. Like the other winner, Venkiteswaran has garnered a stupendous number of points through both, the AE section and the forum. Again, it is not the quantity, but the quality of the approach in participating in a forum discussion or active GD or in answering a query that stands out. His presence has also been strongly felt in threads where the "Members vs Editors" arguments literally raged, and he'd express his own view far more calmly than anyone else - though I've seen a bit of that cool being lost a few times!

    Thank you KVRR and Venkiteswaran for your commitment, for your steadfast presence at ISC through thick and thin, and above all your consistency in quality.

    Each of the winners will receive a cash prize of Rs. 1500/-. We look forward to more footprints at ISC from these two veterans!

    It is said that the importance of an award depends on the person to whom it is awarded. And, so, the Star of the Decade award, as announced now, has once again proved that. KVRR and Venkiteswaran sir are senior members who have been here for long but the interest and balance with which they approach the site, the spirit and zeal they maintain and their overall quest for quality is remarkable and must be appreciated. To copy the words of our ME, 'thanks a lot for your steadfast presence in ISC'!

    Hearty congratulations, KVRR and Venkiteswaran for winning this meritorious award! Hope to see you on this platform for many more years with the same spirit, contributing and guiding and inspiring the newer lot.

    My heartfelt congratulations to KVRR and Venkiteswaran for winning the star of the decade award. Both of them are doing exceptionally well and they deserve these awards. I hope and wish that both of them will continue their good work and win many more awards in the coming months. We expect to learn many lessons from their postings in future on this educational website Indiastudychannel. I wish both of them a happy and healthy future.

    Completing 10 years on a site and contributing continuously and that also good quality content is itself a great achievement. These two senior members have shown that on this site and they truly deserve this award. They have contributed for such a long time in a sustained way.
    I wholeheartedly congratulate them and hope and wish that they will continue contributing in the same way for many years to come. All the best.

    Stars of the Decade!

    This is going to be an unbelievable award for many who look from the outside. As a digital marketer myself, I have a lot of challenges in keeping people on a website even for a few weeks or months. But here we have some dedicated people who not only stayed with a website for more than a decade but continued to contribute tirelessly and were part of the ISC family in its true spirit.

    All of us at ISC are thankful for your dedicated efforts and contributions to this site during the past decade. I can't really express my gratitude to you in mere words but we are trying to d our best by announcing this well-deserved award.

    KVRR and Venkiteswaran, thank you once again for being part of the ISC family and hearty congratulations on this prestigious award.

You have been an inspiration to all of us and at times both of you have dominated the proceedings with your well-thought forum posts and responses.     I am pleasantly surprised and frankly happy on selecting my name as co-winner of the Star of the Decade Award in ISC. In fact I was away for the past two weeks or so and could not be active in forum.
    Simultaneously I like to congratulate KVRR for winning this unique award.
    While thanking ISC team for awarding this, I also thank all the active participants of he forum and all members and readers who 'tolerated' me (read my posts) for the past decade and encouraged me by both support and meaningful critical review or relevant disagreement when needed.
    Though actually ISC is a virtual ground space, and almost none of us have ever met face to face, I always had a feeling of real face to face interaction making it feel like a real life platform for interaction. It is that, added with the variety, veracity and the myriad number and types of talents (members) in the site (who formed a vast source of knowledge), that made me stay on with the site.
    It is always a nice gesture for any enterprise to recognize not just efficiency, effort, quality and quantity, but steadfastness and attachment and belonging too. Any such recognition and return to the contributors will have positive impact and result as it will signal to a confident positive outlook on others.
    Thanks again for the good signaling gesture of ISC in this award, and wishing that many other members too get recognitions and award for their good contribution to the growth of this site and by that self growth too.
    I also thank all the members who put in complementary words here, congratulating me.

    Please note that this prestigious award is not a newly-introduced one. You have been away for some years and hence are not aware that the award was introduced by the admin. in 2021, and last year K Mohan and Ravi Sir (God rest his soul!) were the recipients.
