Word Pairs Forum Challenge - you vote, we reward!

The jury is checking out your entries for the 2022 Word Pairs Forum Challenge. In the announcement, we mentioned a surprise bonus prize in addition to the main prizes that will be awarded as per the decision of the jury panel. That bonus prize is a cash prize of Rs.50/- for the best thread for each pair as decided by your votes.

What you have to do: All members and editors, including those who did not participate, have to give their vote for the thread that they consider the best for each of the six pairs. Your votes should not be put in this thread but should be sent to my Gmail ID which is iscmecontests@gmail.com

After you send our votes, put a response to this thread so that we are aware that you have cast your votes.

Neither I nor the jury panel will check your votes till we have finalized the winners, so as not to be influenced by your votes.

You have to send your votes like this, by sending the name of the member and his/her URL of the thread that you consider the best for that specific pair-
    1. Learn and Earn - [name] [URL]
    2. Song and Dance - [name] [URL]
    3. Slip and Slide - [name] [URL]
    4. Rivers and Oceans - [name] [URL]
    5. Up and Down - [name] [URL]
    6. Twist and Turn - [name] [URL]

So, for example, if you consdier Sarojah's entry for the pair learn and earn as the best, put her name and the URL of the thread for that pair; if you consider Dev Arora's entry for the pair twist and turn as the best, put his name and the URL of the thread for that pair; and so on.

You need not cast your vote for all the pairs. If you do not consider any entry for a pair as worthy, put 'none' next to the pair.

The closing time of receipt of votes is up to 11 a.m. on 7th January 2023.

Note that since I won't be checking the entries beforehand, I will not be able to acknowledge receipt of your emails. However, in case you have responded to this thread and I have not received your votes, I will send you a separate email and you can re-send your votes.

    @Vandana
Contest says that to be eligible for prizes one should written on all pairs but out of 9 participants only 6 members written all the pairs while the other three written only 3 pairs and so how it has to go for this voting?

Yes Sarojah, we are aware that there are participants who did not submit threads on all the pairs and hence will not be considered for the prizes. However, for this voting, we will give the prize as per the votes since it is for individual threads (particular pairs).

    Vandana,
I have sent my votes to your designated email.

( As I was away and pre-occupied I could not participate in this good contest. But voting enabled me to read all the entries posted by members, I appreciate the participants)
