Life is the management of time and money

I noticed that old-generation people believe in saving more money whereas, new-generation people believe in spending more money on fun and entertainment. In our society, some people crossed the age of 80 and are free from liability but always talk about saving and don't want to spend a single rupee on any occasion. And on the other hand, some young generation people are as they spent their all salary before the end of the month and demand money from others for fulfilling their need. They think we should enjoy life and when once the time is gone it will never be back. So, I want to say that life is just the management of time and money. Money and time both are important we should use them the same way. Time is as precious as money. We must know how to manage both. Otherwise, our life would not be peaceful and happier.

Time is more precious than money. Health is also more precious than money. If we are alive and if we are healthy there will be many ways to earn money. Money is required to live and carry on. But we need not think that we should not run after money.
Managing our time and other resources is very important. We may be earning a lot of money but if we don't know how to use the same judiciously, when we really need it, we may not find the same. So one should have some reserves for health-related activities. But they need not think of saving money for their children. They will have their own jobs and earning ways.
Once we attain the age of 80 years, we should not think of savings and if we manage our lives with our money, that is more than enough.

The present trend of spending money is totally different from the earlier trend of saving money. In earlier times people respected money and spent it on necessary items and not just like that for fun and frolic. They saved it for a good future and also for rainy days.
Today a young person wants to enjoy the present and does not bother much about the future. These young people feel that they should enjoy the present as much as possible.
Now both the above approaches are at the extreme and what we require is a balanced approach.
Frankly speaking, one should save at least 35-40% of one's earnings for the future and should manage with the balance and enjoy whatever is possible in that. If earning is more one can definitely enjoy more. In my opinion that would be an approach very near to an optimized balanced approach.

    Knowledge is power.
