Non-educational content in the Jobs section will be retired soon

As you are all aware, the admin. is keen to make ISC into an academic niche. Toward this goal, some steps were taken in removing outdated content in the articles section. Similarly, the admin. will be revamping the jobs section.

What will happen: Any job that is not related to the new niche of education/academics will not be accepted. In fact, there will likely be a change in the categories, with a few removed, and some merged to make it more compact.

When will this change happen: Not immediately. The new policy will come into effect from next month, 20th February onwards. That is, from 20th February, do not post any jobs that are not related to education/academics. For example, if an educational institution is hiring a Civil Engineer, that is fine, but do not submit a vacancy for a civil engineer in a private company or in a government office, or even for a government infrastructure project.

The admin. decided not to make the change abruptly, but to give fair warning to all our valuable contributors as some of you are posting job vacancies in private firms, government organizations, etc that are not related to the educational field. The admin. appreciates your contributions, but, unfortunately, these will no longer be relevant for the new chapter in the growth and development of ISC.

Anything which helps a site to become a specialized niche site in a particular area or field is a welcome measure. There are already so many popular sites on the net where jobs of all kinds are presented in a classified way.
Once the candidates and surfers are aware that there is a niche site for jobs related to educational institutions and education matters only then the site will become popular in that category. The only thing is that we will have to populate as many educational jobs as possible so the site becomes a valuable depository of that.
I hope that this step may bring more traffic to the job category as candidates hunting for education-related jobs will directly come here and would not waste time in large job sites for searching their requirements.
I wish ISC all success in making and getting the results of these improvements.

ISC is putting all its efforts positively towards becoming an educational site. In that direction, this is a step forward and will be good for the site. Instead of mixing everything, if we focus on a particular field we can give more input to the people who are looking for information in that area. Already ISC started accepting only education-related articles only. Now the same is being extended to the job section also. Now the job section will have various jobs that are published by various educational institutes so that people who are interested in that only will visit the site. What will be the effect on the traffic to this section because of this is to be seen. All these days the steps taken by the site gave only positive results and I hope this will also have the same positive effect only I think. I wish ISC all the success in its new academic nitch area.

ISC is taking up all sorts of initiative to reshape it in a form so that it may appear more glamorous. The upcoming plans would certainly require more efforts of the members posting job advertising with the familiarity of the latest trends to be introduced shortly. The members contributing in such postings would certainly come up with the posting of more teachers, professors etc so that it becomes purely an educational site. Hope the members would try their best to be abided by the new rules.

No doubt we all want to our ISC in the top rank in the list of the best educational portal. It is another good step taken by admin. through this response I want to know, when we click category for job posting we found a large number of sectors in this list under drop down menu like Insurance, Journalism, IT software etc. These options will be available in future or not?

As per ISC Admin / ME announcement, Job posting members, please do remember the above-stated date by the ME. You can even now follow the education-related vacancy only to post it here for better traffic with points and cash besides adhering to the ISC Job posting guideline.

Highly recommended from now on is to use the School, College, Institutes, University, Teacher, TGT, PGT, Professor, Instructor, or Education niche keywords and their content only.

Rest all non-education job posts won't be entertained from the effective date and would be deleted directly without any reply anywhere. So, don't waste your/our time.

We recommend new and old members continue to post the stated keywords Jobs avoiding Duplicate/s by a few seconds' search.

In case a new member has no idea how to post School/College vacancies, then go through the Approved Job posts and their content in each field to understand them better and post it accordingly. Best wishes.

@Phagu, Admin will remove the unwanted categories' after sometime.
