Jamuna had acted mostly in Telugu pictures but she also showed her proficiency in a few Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi films. She was a sincere and versatile actress and was well-known in South Indian cine industry.
She started her career as a stage player but gradually acted in films and about 200 films are to her credit.
