Additional care while ordering online

Recently by seeing an advertisement on Facebook selling study materials for school students. That too they have mentioned some discount on the purchase. Though I was not interested in discount etc., satisfied by seeing the content of materials, I have ordered with payment. Though it took more than 15 days on getting confirmation of payment in email, I am not getting the study materials. I kept silent as it may take time to dispatch. But when I saw the advertisement in Face Book again and saw comments from many that they have paid money but not received materials. By seeing that I also made a comment as I have also not received the materials.
But quite to my surprise, I received a message as reply that I have to download the study materials from the link sent in the confirmation email.
Later I remembered the maxim studied in my Law. As per the Sale of Goods Act, there is a maxim, 'caveat emptor' which means, 'let the buyer beware'. As this is the case, I realized that the mistake is mine.
we, the buyers, should be very careful in online orders.

Not only online purchases but also offline purchases also, we should take care and should be cautious.
The other day a street vendor brought Bengal gram and my wife called him and started asking him the price. He has no balance to weigh but he showed a vessel and told her that Bengal gram full of that vessel will be a KG. My wife asked him to give her one KG and came inside to get the money and she told that she will send that material for weighing to the nearby shop. The moment she told him that, he increased the price. My wife asked him, why he increased the rate. Without answering he left the place. Meanwhile, my neighbour came and told us that the seller cheated him. The material of one full vessel is only 500 grams but he charged for a kg. Like this, there are chances of getting cheated. So we should be careful. Some people say that they sell the material at a cheap rate. But we all should remember that no one will do business for a loss.

While going for a purchase in both the mods - ofline or online, we should be careful from which concern we are dealing with. We should not trust any firm blindly and it is always better to know a firm with the reviews of the closed circles. If we are dealing with some firms doing their business for more than a decade and their turnover has grown exponentially, this could be the better benchmark of their good services. Rapported companies always stick to honest policy to attract the customers.

When we are buying any item online then first of all we must find out the online stores which are reliable and trustworthy. There are many well known and popular stores from where people are getting material and are quite satisfied. Some of these stores have a very libral exchange policy also.
The problem comes when we try a new source and suddenly find that it does not deliver and there is no way to get it nabbed through the police or legal circles.
It is imperative that we have to be particular about these things. If a store which is new for us is delivering on cash on delivery basis (CID) then it is advisable to choose that option to test it.
Please note that all the business in this world is directed to receive money in exchange of goods and services and buyer is the king in the market. A shrewd buyer will never pay until one is fully satisfied about the product and the supplier. Money does not grow on trees and we cannot pay our hard earned money to these fraudsters.

One who wants to cheat will cheat in anyway. However cautious and careful we are the last laugh will be the cheater's only.
As far as possible let us stick n with known, tried and tested, established and reputed dealers. If that is not possible let us use our commonsense and take calculated risk. We should allow ourselves an attitude to bear a certain portion or amount as risk and even loss. If it turns out to be positive and right, then t is a bonus. We should try to cultivate that mentality.

At the same time we should also try to expose the cheaters taking care not to risk our life, because nowadays wrongdoers have patronage of Goons and even backing from powerful political parties.
