    Don't nourish your useless thoughts.

Thoughts are something that always keeps coming into our mind, and this is their specialty that they keep going, not stable, depending on how much importance you give to them. The thought process of the human mind has become a reason for happiness in the lives of many people and sorrow for some people. The advice of intellectuals is that the thought which is bringing negativity, do not nurture it nor ignore it, but push it towards positivity through your intelligence. The thought originated in your mind, believe me, you have the power to change your whole life, then it is just a thought.

A good suggestion from the author and I appreciate the same. Negative thoughts will slow down our progress and we will be left behind. So don't allow your mind to entertain negative thoughts for long time. Instead think how those thoughts can be made into positive thoughts. If you are not able to do that just put those thoughts aside and start thinking about other subjects which are more interesting.
Anything that happens will happen for our good only. Keep this always in your mind. This simple thought alone may change your negative thoughts to positive thoughts. Don't worry about inevitable. But think how to get benefitted from those happenings. Then you will have all positive thoughts only. If a person is getting always negative thoughts, he will become psychological sick and may have to see a doctor for cure.

A good thought presented in this post by the author. It is very true that our minds will get all sort of thoughts some of them in the positive territory while many of them will be in the negative territory or related to the evil world. In such a situation avoiding and ignoring the negative thoughts and entertaining and nourishing the positive thoughts would appear to be a good solution but it is not an easy task to accomplish that successfully at our end. Whatever type of thought we get in our minds, when it starts accumulating then at a certain critical point it bursts and manifests in some favourable or adverse form. If this happens with a negative thought then it is generally disastrous for our lives. Negative thoughts and their accumulation has also got a tendency of creating stress in our minds and it is obvious that we must get rid of it at the earliest opportunity.
Experts suggest many methods to overcome our negative thoughts and either avoid them or convert them and bring to the positive territory. Yoga and meditation are supposed to be doing that job for many individuals who have successfully incorporated them in their routine lives.

    Knowledge is power.

It is a good write up by the author and is rather a valuable suggestion. After all, human being are sentimental and any adverse comment passed on by others cannot be dismissed altogether. Though always the affected person cannot be outspoken but the bad comments remain deep seated inside the mind and finally it becomes a brain storming exercise to eliminate the same. Despite constant struggles, it would be difficult to eliminate the same. Very strange, the good comments and positive comments of others might not be helpful to that level to resolve the imbalances.
To avoid all such negativities, we will have to think of yoga and meditation, light music or other mind relaxation techniques so that the negativity could be suppressed and the mind occupies calmness for better performance.

A very valid point has been put up by the author for a discussion. I have noticed that when people lead a happy and contented life, they mostly get positive thoughts to the maximum extent as their life has been going in a positive direction. However, a single disaster can change their views towards life and their way of thinking could turn topsy-turvey and they might start getting negative thoughts. At that juncture, it would take plenty of time for them to come out of it. Some people do meditation and yoga to get back to leading a good life without any worries while others on the contrary just brood and blame God for making their lives miserable for no fault of theirs.
To take my case as an example, I was always positive till my husband's demise although he had serious health issues and I had to spend most of the days in the hospital owing to this.
However, after his demise, I started having negative thoughts and getting stressed even over small things. I was able to overcome this by posting in ISC Forums, teaching students, reading books, and pursuing my hobbies. Although sometimes I do get stressed, I try to be calm and always think about what God and the universe have given me which many unfortunate people do not even have.
