Winners of the January 2023 Topic TOW contest - Durable

There were a good number of participants for the January 2023 Topic TOW contest on the word Durable. What was really interesting was that some of the entries were like two sides of a coin. For example, Venkiteswaran spoke about the short durability of Chinese products, while Dr. Rao spoke about Indian products no longer having the tag of non-durability. Then there was Niharika's thread about the millennial generation discarding things despite their durability, while Sankalan brought out the aspect of how durability is perceived in different ways. Overall, the perspectives that came out were lucid and delightful to read and think about. Well done, participants!

Two participants have been selected for the top prize with a cash award of Rs 100/- and 100 points for each of them. They are Niharika and Shampa Sadhya.

The special prize which comes with a cash award of Rs 50/- and 50 points goes to Sankalan Bhattacharya.

Congratulations to all the winners! We will also reward some of the other good entries with enhanced points and cash credits.

Congratulations to all the winners. The word given is very nice and can be written in various ways. All the authors got that point and shown their creativity. After reading the submission from Sankalan, I thought that deserves the award and jury also selected the same for a special award. That is excellent. I hope and wish that all the winners will continue their good work and win many more awards in the coming months. Participation is also encouraging this time. I think this type of participation may encourage the Editors to conduct good contests here.
