    It is a God gift but we abuse it!

    Some people are born healthy and remain healthy for quite some time. It could have some link to their heredity or the climate of the place where they live but the fact is that everyone is not so healthy and good health is said to be a divine gift.
    I have seen some people who never fall ill till their late age while there are many who periodically fall ill and get hospitalised and are always under some medicine dupport.
    So many people believe that good health is a God gift and everyone is not so lucky to have that.
    Unfortunately, many people do not keep their good health well maintained and have disorder and indiscipline in their lives and simply abuse their good health and then they get various types of ailments in their bodies.
    Though they were bestowed upon a good health by almighty but by indulging in bad habits like eating junk food, sleeping in odd times, not exercising, many people get their good health changed to bad health and then there is nothing except repenting in their lives.
    It is imperative that those who have got a good god gift in the matter of health must preserve it by adheing to good habits and good lifestyle in their lives. We must remember that health is wealth and if we don't take it seriously it will deteriorate.

    Health is essential for a human being to have a happy life. You may be having everything but not health. Then also your life is not happy. So health is very significant. It may be a God's gift but how the individual protects it will be in his own hands. Our habits will decide our health. Doing some exercises, eating as per the need and eating nutritious food and not going for junk food, not smoking and drinking are excellent habits one should have. These habits will keep us healthy.
    People who believe in God will think that the sins or good things they performed in earlier births will reflect in this birth our health. If we committed some bad acts in our previous births or in this birth, then we will suffer from ill health. It all depends on the individual and his beliefs.
    As a matter of fact, a sound body will give us a sound mind. So a healthy person will have a positive mind and that will make him successful in his life.

    Gone are the days when people use to get fresh and original food. In today's world, the situation has changed, and the workload more, and stress have become like friends, we need to fight for our everyday life. In this condition having good health is a rare thing to ask for. Today, nothing is guaranteed in life, but yes time to time checkup is the most important thing to live a longer life. A fit and healthy look does not guarantee good health.

    Certainly to keep good health, we must adhere to the healthy life styles where there should not be inclusion of junk, fatty and oily foods.This simple strategy was the part of the lives in the earlier applicable for both rural and urban people. Moreover the earlier concept was not to consume any thing unless the people were really hungry. Such habits of the people did not allow them to fall ill. But now, the time has changed and we all engaged in duties where timing of our food consumption is not fixed and is variable depending upon our nature of duties. Hence our food patterns might include all such food stuffs probated earlier. To sum up, such foods are affecting our immunity and hence there is frequent recurrence of our ill health not noticeable in the past.

    Let me add one more point that hotel lovers should make their habits to visit hotels and restaurants to bare minimum, though the taste and flavour enjoyed in such locations might not be available in our domestic preparations. But we take care at every stage right from the freshness of vegetables, healthy oils such as mustard, coconut oils ensuring its quality and bare minimum use of oils. Salt and spice are added to the extent it produces flavour in the preparation. There is no such guarantees for the hotel preparation.
    We should be particular to all these points for the maintenance of our health. As far as possible, stress needs to avoided since this causes a lot of health disorders. Let us keep ourselves moving on regular basis.
