We look for pure things but forget one

In today's world, we look for the good things which fit our taste. We make choices in everything. We like to intake pure, filtered water and good quality food. We like to live in the fresh air. But we forget this attitude one time. When social media offers anything we take it without matching our taste. In the world of short video culture, prominently known as reels we only scroll down moving our fingers without honking whether the video served matches our taste. It's right that we try to do it to rejuvenate ourselves but this addiction also eats our useful time. We waste our time on meaningless videos. Mind is also like software which needs healthy things which doesn't contain a virus but we always forget that.

A thought provoking post by the author. Short videos and reels in the internet are creating havoc with time and constructive lives of people especially the young people who are highly addicted to it. The short videos are falling on the user screen like heavy downpour and by the time one finishes watching one there are hundreds emerging out from nowhere. Some of these videos are of general entertainment nature while some are of DIY nature where some associated advertisements for selling some gadgets or items will also be appearing in front of us.
There is so much variety in these reals but everything will not be of our interest. Still we go on seeing them one by one as if we have to cover the syllabus of some sort. This is a very pitiable condition.
Another thing is there is not only craze for watching these small short videos or reels but there are a good number of people creating them and uploading in the media. These videos are easy to make and and once are published and people see them then the particular reel maker feels proud of it.

    Knowledge is power.

Frankly, I was a little bewildered by the main text and did not quite understand it. Only on reading the response by Umesh that it was somewhat a little more clear! It would be good, Dev Arora, if you convey what you wish to say in a better way as the "one" part was not lucid, at least not to me.

When we have the habit of going for the best, the same should be applied in watching content on social media. A good advice from the author and everybody should understand the importance of this suggestion and should follow. These so called reels are short videos. Some of them are interesting. But some of them are useless and waste of time. So we should be selective and watch good reels that are interesting to us should only be seen.
We receive number of such short videos on social media. I watch only a few of them which are interesting. Mostly I watch speeches of some political leaders and some songs only. Others I never open.
Some youth these days spend a lot of time on these reels. They will have negative affect on our minds and disturb them a lot. Hence it is better to set them aside and just go for the best reels which will give positive thinking and relaxation to your mind. Be selective on social media also.

It is true that because of social media, many people of all age groups are wasting their valuable time by accessing social media very often. Before I had a smartphone with no internet connection, I was contented and happy as I was only receiving and answering calls. However, after I started watching Youtube posts by some women about buying and maintaining a house neatly, I wasted plenty of my time and money thinking that these channels were useful.

But, after I found that I had purchased unwanted items and had wasted a significant amount of money buying extra things under the pretext of keeping my house neat, the hard reality hit me and now I have stopped watching such channels which have resulted in my saving some money.
Further, there are too many videos about keeping the mind healthy and happy and how to lead a positive life. By watching one after another which kept on appearing on my screen, I utterly got confused and stopped watching any such videos which happen to confuse my mind instead of purifying it. Too much content on any information is too bad which can only make the matter worse.
