Living in today while planning for tomorrow.

It is said that wherever you are today, whatever you are doing, just give your 100% to the same moment and do not waste today in the worries of tomorrow or the past. But is it practically possible? I think one of the options, is, don't think about the past, maybe somehow is possible but not planning for the future seems a bit difficult. Surely everyone will have their own opinion on this matter and these opinions come only with experience. So let's discuss the thoughts which we got from our experiences in this matter.

My experience says that there is nothing wrong in remembering those parts of the past where we could have done something better but due to some reason we couldn't, actually it motivates us that what we did not do earlier, we can do today or the future. On the other hand, we should try to forget such things which can become obstacles in our life.

Talking about planning for the future, we definitely have to do this, but not all the time, plan for a certain goal and target it, focus on today, and move towards your target every day. Certainly, today is important but it is the link between the past and future, now it is up to you how special you can make it.

Planning, rather than for tomorrow, is good for even next hour. Many of us undergoing without planning. Here many of thing considering the word planning in a grand way. Booking train ticket for next month journey also a planning. By boarding into a car, my grandfather used to say, we have to tell the place where we go, so as the driver could plan the route to reach the place according to our exigency.

We have to learn from our past. Why they say let us not worry about past? What has to happen has already happened and you can't reverse the same. So analyse the whole issue once and understand where did we go wrong and then forget about the whole issue. But never do the same mistake.
Planning for tomorrow is required. But let us not forget the present in planning for tomorrow. As a human being you have to perform some work and what you have to do now is to be done without thinking about tomorrow. Once you complete your today's work, spare some time and plan for tomorrow. This is the best way.
When you are in a market thinking of selling something, you should think about selling and that should be completed. Then only you can plan what can be done with that money the next day. Instead of without concentrating on selling if we go on planning regarding what to do with the money, you may not be able to sell that item and there is no question of what to do with tha money we are getting in the sales.

One should remember the past, live in the present and plan for the future. We cannot ignore the past or the future. Past gives experience and the knowledge to happily live in the present with an eye on the future.

If we are remembering our past to learn a lesson and not to repeat the mistake today then there is no harm in remembering it. Problem comes when we remember our past in a sensitive or sentimental way. Then of course it is wastage of time only.
Present is for working, being happy, and enjoy life. At the same time a part of present is to be devoted for planning for the future. That is an essential activity otherwise in future we would find ourselves vacant and jobless.

Some people believe that no one can undo the past, it is better to forget it and not try to rewind anything which brings unhappiness to you. However, some others feel that we should learn our lessons from the mistakes we had made in the past and must not repeat it.
Sometimes, it is important to plan our future such as saving money or planning for our travel. But, when we look at the other side of the coin, the future is never predictable. For example, calamities just wipe away the hopes of the future in just a second or so. A very good example is the earthquake that killed thousands of people in Turkey although some people feel that as was predicted it could have been prevented. But, still, it could have happened.

I think it is always better to concentrate hundred percent on the present time and not worry too much about the past or the future. If you are happy and do your work sincerely, your future will be fine.

The best moment is the present and it must be exploited fully so that it will not allow us to repent in future. Diversion of the concentration can spoil the job with which we are engaged and to manage the job successfully, we will have to see the task in the different perspectives. What are the loopholes affecting our efforts and how to plug them should be the prime criteria. Thinking for the future is not bad but the thoughts for the present and future should not occur simultaneously such that both the plannings are not in perfect shape.
Rationality lies in applying the concentration for the present task and future needs to be planned in leisure hours for success of plans.

In all our life, our past is always a lesson from which we learn and move away not to do the same mistakes again. However, future planning is required no matter how you manage your life.
