Silence is the best medicine for relieving stress and there are some advantages too.
Many people across the world suffer from anxiety during some periods of their life which could sometimes turn serious if not addressed immediately. Although experts suggest various ways to destress, I believe by not losing your patience and being silent for at least a few minutes could help you to come out of the situation in a jiffy. For example, when some drivers are caught up in traffic jams, they get tensed and lose their calm. Under such situations, they should remain silent and wait patiently for the traffic to ease out.In addition, your mind becomes calm which helps you to maintain good relationship with your family, friends and relatives. For instance, I have noticed that a few families reach the peak of stress early in the morning when most of them go out of their houses either to their work place, schools or colleges. They blame each other for getting late and get into useless arguments. This results in the whole day turning negative and makes them lose their energy.
Instead of arguing, if they do not talk and carry on with their work silently not only the day would be good but also the whole house will end up getting positive energy which I feel is good for the family as well as the society as they would also interact with the public when they step out of their houses.
