Who in your opinion will win in the war between good and evil?

In this world, there are many entities and agencies which are working either for their own interest or for the interest of common men. Broadly we can divide them into two distinct groups. One is the good part and the other is the evil one.

The agencies which are working for the welfare of poor and downtrodden people and helping humanity on a bigger scale are definitely the good ones but there are many which are doing terrorist activities in the world and harming the people. Then there are the cheats, frauds, and cunning people who are deceiving and exploiting gullible people all across the globe. There are also some who want to create disorder and chaos in this world and then fulfill their mean desires. The Govt of various countries are trying to contain the bad elements and their deeds but evil people are finding newer ways to harm their fellow beings.

The fight between good and bad is always there but sometimes the Govt controls them effectively while at times they give a tough time to society. Will there be any end to it? Who in your opinion will win in the war between good and evil?

History says that good will always win over evil. Pandavas won over Kauravas. Rama wins over Ravana. But before finally winning the good will also suffer because of the attempts to bring it down by the evil forces. Rama suffered a lot before he wins the battle. Pandavas were in forest and then in exile. They suffered a lot but finally won over because of the timely help by Lord Krishna.
But if we consider todays elections as a battle, there is no rule that good only will win. People who are having money and muscle power will win on the other people.
Even in courts today there is no guarantee that truth will come out always. Money plays an important role. Lawyers can make a lie as a a truth also.
So I am puzzled to answer the question posed by the author in this forum. Chanced of Evil winning over good are also there these days.

Good will definitely win over the evil, if and only if, the good people can properly identify the evil people and recognize their evil deeds.

Just imagine if there are only good people in this world, will there be any importance for them? Good people can only exist if there are bad or evil people. Evil was always there and to fight with them there were always good people who stand against them. So, this will continue as long as this world is there.

Evil will have some short term temporary success. But ultimately good will (and should) prevail. Humans , animals, and nature has its tolerance threshold. Beyond that there will be reaction and retaliation.

That is what we are taught from childhood to be good always, to abstain from evil and to oppose evil or 'Adharma'.
In Bhagavat Gita, Lord Krishna ha assured us that whenever Adharma lords over Dharma and Dharma suffers relegation, He will take birth in suitable avatars to resurrect the Dharma, the good.

But that Avatar will not be so early. It will only when the good people totally lose their power to defat evil and become fully helpless and victimized.

So the moot question is whether to allow situation to become so worse and then wait for external help(God's help) or to crush the evil at the initial stage itself when good has the power to do so. All our previous experience prove that when we did not act using simple medicine to cure the illness and allowed it to grow with leniency, and then to do bloody surgery at the last minute.

Let each one of us consider ourselves responsible and dutybound to quell evil as and when we s it at the very fist time itself.

Late Cho ,founder editor of Tamil political weekly Tughluk, once said that terrorism is like bed bug. It may be just one at the start. Unless we crush it at that time, it will spread in such a way that it will take us to a situation when the whole bed has to be burned at a later stage.
There should be zero tolerance for evil especially to terrorism, drugs, violence , adulteration etc. which victimize innocents and helpless.

This is a million dollar question prevailing in every mind since ethical period. Though good is winning at last, evil dominates the time of good mostly. The winning time is according to the time of subjected person. Till that hour the subjected person has to suffer unknowingly when that hour comes but if he hold hope on winning of good his patience get increased but one he taste dejection immediately he will get submerged in sorrow.

Who in your opinion will win in the war between good and evil?
