How can one cope up in such a situation?

Workplace in an office or an organisation is a place where employees work together for the common objectives and goals. Theoretically speaking, work place should be a place where cordial behaviour between the employees exists and people work in a calm and conducive environment. But in practice what we observe is that in many workplaces some employees create problems for others and sometimes even harass their colleagues on one pretext or other. Some gullible employees get hurt and offended with these attacks by the bad employees.
Sometimes it becomes difficult for simple and hard working employees to cope up in such situations.
Have you got any experience in this regard? How can one cope up in such a situation? Please share your views and opinion in this matter.

What the author has indicated is the regular norm being seen in the organisations in our country. At least in the public undertakings and so in the government departments, the employees are fearless due to their full protection from the side of the management. This is enough for them to be aggressive and they can be outspoken and sometimes create disturbance of the peaceful environment. They are very much aware of the facts that in no way, they would be made accountable to the management for their lapses.
The higher bosses of the organisations should take a note of such unusual situations causing low output of the management and frequent meetings with the employees highlighting the objectives of the management has to be apprised to all employees. They should be even be told regarding the enhanced benefits they would enjoy for the higher outputs. Such regular meetings indicating daily targets, monthly and annual targets should be discussed at length so that they could change their cultures.

Not just in workplace, wherever human beings will gather there will be some sort of conflicts. Many years back, such issues were never addressed. They would suffer in silence and it would affect their mental well being. But now-a-days that is not the case. many organization's have taken up steps that would address these issue, they have many workshop. They also have teams and mechanism where employees can come forward and raise such issue and based on severity of the issue the matter is addressed and actions are taken.

If anyone is being targeted and if it is affecting their mental being, they should always take steps to address it by taking appropriate steps.

That is a real problem. When somebody is progressing well, the other people will be jealous and try to create hurdles to the candidate who is doing otherwise well. If the boss is good and understands the issues properly we need not worry much and we can go on concentrating on our work. Definitely, there will be some people who are always focus on others without doing their own work. The issue will start from such people only.
There is a saying in Telugu which means that a thorn should be removed with a thorn only. So we should also be tactful and see that the attempts of the other person will back fire on him only. We should also start observing what the other person is doing and we should also try to find out his mistakes and highlight them to the boss. We should select our course of action based on the mentality of our boss and see that he will not get upset with our own actions.
Not disclosing our works and results to others before we submit them to t=our boss is very important to deal with such people.
