Reading right, succeeding brightly - beware of misleading sight.

Reading is one of the most important skills that we learn in our early years of education. In this era, the information that is available is unlimited but reliable information is very limited.

It is very crucial that we read the right information from authentic sources and verify as much as possible whether it is true or not. With the advent of social media, the fake news has a life of its own. It gets propagated multiple times and people tend to believe them and wont be much bothered to verify whether it is true or not. It is very easy to get misled. During covid times, the amount of misinformation that were spread was unbelievable.

So, beware of misleading sight as not everything that we read is true. Misleading information can have very disastrous consequences, especially when it comes to decision-making. It is essential to develop critical thinking skills and question the information that we come across. It is only by reading right and verifying information that we can succeed in life and make informed choices.

In conclusion, reading is a powerful tool that can help us succeed in life. However, we must be very cautious of the information that we read and ensure that it comes from authentic sources. Reading right and developing critical thinking skills can enable us to succeed bright and avoid the pitfalls of misleading sight.

A good presentation from the author.
There are many sources of information these days. When we read in different media, the same information will be presented in different ways and as a reader, we will fail to understand which news is correct and which is wrong. So we should see the source and its authenticity before taking the information as correct.
People spread fake news and some innocent people take them as correct and get lost. So we should read, and use our own judgement to understand which is the correct source. But this kind of problem will come only when we see social media. So we all should not take social media information as authenticated.
There are many sites on the internet today and when we search for particular information on Google we get a lot of information, But we don't know whether the information given there is correct. So we should check from only standard web sites only.

A nice thought presented by the author in this post. Today we are floating in an ocean of information and data. Anywhere we look we find some information whether it is useful to us or not, whether it is correct or not, whether it is meant for us or not but it is available in plenty there. In such a situation it is obvious that there would be many things which would not be authentic and correct and are only present there because of the vested interests of some sources who want to cheat or deceive or mislead the gullible people about something and then take them to a page where the visitors might err in their judgement. The surfer or visitor to the internet or the reader reading the various books and journals should be aware of all this. It is said that even some research paper or thesis works are sometimes doubtful because they were not executed with full sincerity and honesty.
So, how to choose the correct information out of that plethora of knowledge and data scattered around? The answer to that is not easy and is a difficult exercise. Still, there are ways to protect ourselves from that
For example cross checking the data and information from one source with another source is a good technique which helps in checking the authenticity of information in the present environment. Main thing is we have to be careful and cautious about this situation.

    Knowledge is power.
