I like these rules. What is your view?
Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), the great den of destructive students whose age range is 28-40 years, has brought a new set of rules. These latest rules stipulate that students can be imposed a penalty of Rs. 20,000/- for holding dharnas and face admission cancellation or a fine of up to Rs. 30,000/- for resorting to violence in the university. The admission cancellation is applicable even for those who took admission in previous sessions. The 'Rules of Discipline and proper conduct of students of JNU', have come into effect on and from 3rd February 2023. This set of rules has come after the university witnessed violent protests and the destruction of property over the screening of a controversial and one-sided BBC documentary. Not only now, but this university also has a history of violence and destruction of university property for more than 30 years. I myself noticed how the internet server room of the university was completely burnt down causing a loss of crores of rupees. I have also seen the language they use against the professors and officials whom they don't like. The so-called over-aged students continue to occupy hostels and carry out destructive and harmful activities, even criminal activities year after year. Their research tenure is increased by some sympathetic professors. They pay only a few hundred rupees to make merry in the prime location of Delhi.
I fully support this new set of rules of JNU. What is your opinion in this regard?
