Holi is a festival of fun and frolic. More than that it is time to spread love and joy and it is also said that it is the time to meet and hug even the enemy and forget the differences. That is really a great takeaway from this festival.
This is a very special festival in the sense that people meet each other in an informal way and enjoy the colours and also enjoy the special Holi eatables prepared in the house.
I wish all the ISC members a happy Holi and have an enjoyable time.

Festival of colours. People enjoy colours on Holi day. This is actually not a very famous festival in Telugu states. But slowly it is picking up.
As per Hindu mythology, Holika is the sister of King Hirnyakashyap. In an attempt to kill Prahalda, she got killed. The Holika bonfire is lit every year. This is to make all humans remember that always good will win over evil. Holi will be celebrated the next day of this bonfire.
Out of joy of victory of good over evil, all will celebrate this day joyfully by spraying colours on each other. This year I am not seeing any notice outside so far. Probably many may be celebrating the festival tomorrow. In Hyderabad, Viral fevers are very high as of now and it is advisable not to play too much in groups. After all. health is more important than anything else.
I wish all members of ISC a happy, joyful and safe Holi.
