The importance of STEM education is provided in the article What is STEM education and why is it important and it cannot be denied that students with a scientific bent of mind will find the model of education quite beneficial. With the advancement of technology, we need more people in various technical domains and the emphasis on the science subjects in this method will help students to develop in the specific domain of science. There are various subjects other than science which are also important so only focusing on STEM may not be helpful for everyone. The important thing is to identify the interest of the students in the beginning and guide them accordingly. We have many ways and means to assess the students much early and that has to be utilised rather than forcing everyone to study science-based subjects.

STEM is what we hear many times these days. This is a new education system that offers custom made based on the interests and learning styles of every student. This education process will make the student skilful in the areas of his/her interest. This skill set will make the students ready to take up jobs in the industries. Thus this education is very useful to the students. STEM stresses research, problem-solving, critical thinking, and creativity, skills that are required for a student to be successful.
That is why we see these days more thrust on internships for students and each student has to do some stipulated internships before completing their degree. STEM education makes children rise to the need of the occasion and become the innovators and inventors of tomorrow. Simple theoretical knowledge alone may not make the students ready for the job. But STEM provides them with on-the-job training which is the absolute necessity of the day.

The full form of STEM is Science, Technology Engineering, and Mathematics. But its meaning and scope is much beyond that. In this technique every student is given special attention for taking care of his interests and learning requirement.
Another important thing in this technique is that learning has to be linked to the practical world and industries around. STEM also tries to inculcate high level skills in the students and infuses learnings in them for inter relating between various disciplines.
STEM is said to be instrumental in bringing learnings in collaboration, communication, research, problem solving, critical thinking, and creativity. These are necessary skills that students need to learn to be successful in today's environment.
Due to all above takeaways, STEM is getting popular.

Stem education is the need for the aspirants where they learn lessons in their own areas of interest- be it science, mathematics, engineering or technology and it is known as STEM indicating the meaning of the different subjects.
In fact, the education becomes more meaningful and purposeful when the students are fully motivated and showing their interest in their chosen areas so that they can apply full thrust in their chosen fields. This would allow the students to be more motivational in the direction of problem solving and they can fit themselves in the areas of higher studies and research.
In the upcoming time, this pattern would be more popular.
